Default Costa Mesa Gun Show...

Hi Team!

I heard recently that the C.M. show was significantly bigger than the Ontario show...that so?

If it's bigger I might drop by and check it out!

Ontario = One building

Costa Mesa = Four buildings plus the space in between and in the quad. I've had good luck finding things at this show versus other locations.

Definitely bigger. Best show in SoCal. That said, bargains are few and far between. Online searches will get you better deals. Costa Mesa has primers and powder which ontario doesn't. Still, for $20 parking and entrance, great way to spend a few hours in entertainment value.

Anyone attending tomorrow I would really appreciate some intel on prices of .45acp & .223 (factory and reload) ammo @ 250, 500 and 1000 rounds from Miwall and LAX Ammo.

If you see any $3k ARs or $5k FN SCARs, report back. Some folks dont know the drought is over.

I wasn't paying attention to AR's, but I can tell you the SKS's are still overpriced. Never fear, I don't buy into that! I found a Enfield No. 5 Mk. 1 rifle in pretty darn good condition - and yes it's the real thing! Definitely got a deal on that one. Ammo prices for the things I buy are still the same.

Not too proud to admit it but I spent $167 on 500 rounds of 9mm brass reloads from LAX. I also bought some Federal 5.56x45 for $11/box of 20.

I picked up 4 lbs Varget, could have had 6 but I don't need that much. I got 3 cases of primers (LRP, SRP, and a cases of SPP). No one was walking out of there with crazy amounts of any one item, so I'm sure they had some reasonable limits. But I was in line for 2 hours and still got everything I wanted. The 8 lb jugs of Varget lasted a coupe hours. Maybe they'll have more tomorrow?

Crowds were gone by 1pm. My best experience there in a year!

Place was pretty empty.

Only thing selling was ammo. Prices still too high on .223

Lots of C&R rifles especially overpriced M1 Garands.

I went back today and it was even more empty. No lines for ammo and I got everything I was looking for at the same price or slightly cheaper than I was paying well over a year ago. I didn't buy any .22 at $59.99 for 500...that's insane.

First booth I stopped at made a comment about any sale during a slow show like this is good.

Vendors were hurting and I got some good deals today. Walked over to miwall at 2pm and got all the primers, powder and bullets I wanted and I didn't even have to wait in line.

what do they expect when they gouge people. I had no pity for any of the mag sellers with what they did to ppl the last cpl months.

Same goes for all the ammo sellers they stocked up jacked the prices up and now the lines are no more. They are stuck with high priced inventory b/c of greed and when the draconian laws go through in CA they will completely lose an entire market to sell that overpriced stock in

I found primer and powder for less than I could find online.

Want pisses me off are the vendors selling Chinese crap for almost the same price as name brand items.

I got 100 rounds of pmc .223 @10.95 per 20 round box. Some grizzly Joe's cooking spices for chicken and steaks. $14 to get in after coupon. Place was empty. Not as many vendors as in the past.I remember going just 5 years ago and you could barley move there were so many people and tables everywhere
