What do we think of this potential candidate?

I like him so far. He has been on the repeal of the gas tax from the getting.
Not sure if I am misremembering, but John Cox, a business man, is throwing his hat in the ring. He just made a 6 figure donation to Carl DeMaio's gas tax repeal effort. But so far, I like what I've heard from Travis. He knows the issues CA is facing. Not sure how staunch he is on 2A. Last edited by mistaunga; 10-22-2017 at 10:53 PM.. Reason: Spelling |

Likely, he is also such a seething greasy scumbag something could come out and bring him down, so we need to have a good candidate no matter what.

I hear Travis frequently on talk radio and he sounds wonderful!
However as of this writing I think it wise to keep options open before throwing support to the eventual republican. Somehow we need to get only one GOP candidate on the ballot and hope the other party self destructs . |

Call me what you will, but I am almost at the point to not even bother voting anymore. It doesn't matter because none of the elected officials that represent me, actually represent me.
This state has leaned so far to the left, I fear that it can't even make it back to the middle, let alone the right. I am afraid that God himself couldn't even fix the mess we are in here in California.

Without getting this thread political, the real reason Trump won was because Hillary lost. Trump's plan wasn't all that ideal or crafty. He made it through the primaries because ALL of the other candidates were jokers trying to be aces. Trump isn't an ace either, but he's a better looking joker than all the others because sometimes he can PLAY the part of an ace. On the D side, there wasn't a race. The other two candidates were no-hopers after the DNC rigged the primary. That gave Hillary the idea she didn't actually have to run an election campaign, she could just show up on election day and it'd be in the bag. There was only 1 little tiny flaw in that glass of champagne. NO ONE liked Hillary except the fringe element. So, Trump won because the D's made a major mistake in trying to pre-select the next President without actually thinking that she'd have to actually WIN in order for their dream to come true.

After seeing what the Clintons and Obama got away with any "dirt" will be over looked. People seem to be saying, "Well, that's just the way it is".

With the Nonpartisan blanket primary system in CA, there is a good chance Newsom and Villaraigosa will be the top two final candidates next Nov, no Republicans. This, along with a Sanctuary State status and voting for illegal aliens, makes CA a completely rigged game for Democrats. Quote:
Plus, your bolded statement does not even compare to the upcoming CA gubernatorial election, not even apples and oranges, more like apples and motorcycles. Hillary beat Trump in CA by a margin of 2:1; she got 9 million votes and Trump received approx. 4.5 million. If every single Calgun member voted Trump, it still would have been 4.25 million short. And as we are painfully reminded everyday, not every Calgun member votes Republican.

So I wrote Mr. Allen and asked him myself. I will post my question and his response (or a staffer)
My question: "Mr. Allen, I will be honest here. I am basically a single issue voter so my main question too you is this. What is your stance on the Second Amendment and the gun laws in this state? Thank you, Jeff ×××××××× (Ca voter)" Response: "Assemblyman Allen has always always been a strong supporter of the Second Amendment and has a perfect voting record to prove it. Outside of the legislature’s unbridled attacks on the safety of Californians, the Assemblyman takes particular issue with California bureaucracies being able to make changes and modifications to existing draconian laws on a moment’s notice. Thanks to Democrat policies, criminals consider California a safe space, and it pains us all to see violent crime on the rise. Travis Allen stands by your right as an American to keep yourself and your family safe in whatever way you see fit. We appreciate your reaching out to us, it’s people like you reaching out personally that gives us the motivation to do this. Personally I’ve been behind Travis since his head rose up. Melessa has also been holding the line.
But in all honesty this race is Bay Area elites vs Los Angeles voter fraud. Villaraigosa vs Newscum. May be enough to fracture the votes to let Cox or Allen in.....but we’re going to have to choose just one single republican candidate. |

Having NRA,Police and other big organizations endorse him also led to victory . More proof of his popularity was every rally was filled to over capacity with crowds cheering and motivated. For the strategy on how he pulled off the electoral college win read Ed Morriseys book "Going red" his campaign staff did! Im pointing this out to show a believable candidate with charisma, wealth and a message could win California! Now we need to narrow the field and unify with the best candidate! We also need to join and encourage others to join CAGOP ! Last edited by ja308; 10-25-2017 at 1:17 PM.. |

The only thing more tiring than democratic rule over California is all the "it'll never happen" sentiment EVERY TIME somebody has the sack to try and get the ball rolling on here. To all you naysayers, why don't you try actually jumping on board for once? You have nothing to lose. The dems are so fractured and poisonous right now. The ultra leftist antics are turning off many of the true liberals who actually live in reality. There will likely never be a better time to flip this State than now. We have a year to put in work and actually get this done. Get off your assets and go volunteer, donate, call your friends, or anything other than sit around and pretend your too busy to do anything. There is no other way but at the ballot box. The only way this is a sure thing is if you do nothing. As I've said before, there were over 5 million registered eligible voters in this State whom simply did not show up last November. That's more than enough to get it done. Contrary to popular belief, there are NOT more D's than R's here. So far, there are just more D's willing to show up on election day. Quit being one of those no-shows. You're not lying to anyone but yourself. GTFO and put in work. Don't bother replying to this. You're pathetic response is predictable. Just get to work. That is all.

It has been a while. 18-years by my math. California didn't vote for Trump. The majority is extreme anti-Trump and this is a sanctuary state now, remember. So there isn't hope. Not as long as the greater San Francisco Bay Area and greater Los Angeles Area are part of this state. They speak for everyone in this state.

Look, we're slowly losing at the jury box. You have to try The Ballot Box, cause the ammo box is gonna be the last ditch horrific fight and I really don't want to go there. If we must we must but we still have to try the first two.

To think the most honorable thing he did as governor was to impregnate his wifes housekeeper about sums up his legacy . I wish to heaven this guy would have stayed in Austria. He is unfit to live in a free society and its not like none of us called and pleaded with him to do the right thing! In any event we need to have cagop limit who is in the primary to have 1 republican on the ballot. Yeah I just rejoined cagop. I suggest others contact and join even if its only for 5 bucks ! I'm thinking/hoping the way things are happening in Hollyweird, that may weaken the Democrats votes. I don't think Democratic candidates will be doing any campainging in Hollyweird. We shall see.

Travis Allen and Melissa Melendez are the ones to lead any possible conservative comeback in CA. Every conservative needs to get behind them and the GOP needs to wake up and basically not allow another conservative to enter the race and dilute the conservative vote.
