Default Any private pond owners or leads on fishing?

An estate with 10 acre pond I used to fish at since I was a kid (owned by a family friend) was sold and virtually destroyed. Shame because it was a great little fishery with its deepest spot at about 20ft. 3-6lb bass all day long and near record size crappies and bluegills.

New owner landscaped the entire property and put all the remaining dirt in the center of the pond to form an island.

So I’ve lost that “feel good” spot for me and my six year old son who was just starting to show a real interest in fishing.

Sure, there’s a lot of public fisheries and I’ve even considered paying to fish at Blodgett lake off grantline rd (that place any good?), but am wondering if anyone has a lead in the greater Sacramento area for a good private pond?

I clean up after myself (and even others in policing trash) and would even consider paying.

Private fishing or hunting spots protected like area 51. Pay to play everywhere. No one should ever give up spots. Takes years to get access in many cases. Go to trout pond pay for play.

Nobody said anything about “giving up” anything. You never know when there’s someone on the forum with pond access, who doesn’t fish as much as they used to, and would be willing allow access... Especially if 1) I’m willing to pay, 2) I’ll police the shores beyond the trash I produce, and 3) if it means making additional memories with my 6yo son now that our old pond is gone.
