Default New Rancho Cordova shop - Armory Outpost

Check out this new shop over at 3199 Fitzgerald Rd. If you are driving down Fitzgerald from Whiterock you will see his banner and sign on your left at one of the first entrances to that business park.

The owner is a nice guy named Ron. Very cool shop with some great items. Marked prices look good and he will meet or beat local prices. Very quick with the paperwork. Nice case full of hand guns and rifle racks... I saw some pristine looking Finn M39's and Garands, a few AR's, and M&P10's in there there other day. He had a TV on the wall with Hickock45 shooting a machine gun last time I was in there.

I got my Shield 9mm (CA version with free orange skateboard ramp) for $440. I don't think it went that low anywhere in town. Cordova's .40 is down to $469 now but the 9mm is still up at $499.

Went in there today. Ron is a great guy with a nice shop! Definitely worth the time to stop in and check his stuff out. A couple of highlights... Has a great collection of unfired Finn Mosins for sale, along with some beautiful Garands!

I was back in today again too visiting some jailed project parts. I counted nine of those M39's. There were some beautiful 91/30's today too marked at $160 and up IIRC - I think they topped out at $169. Those Garands look unfired too, I peaked at a few bores today... super nice and tempting... but all I took home was a free fridge magnet.

Default New Rancho Cordova shop - Armory Outpost

Thanks for the heads up.. I live just down the road.

Update:

I stopped in to check it out and grab some ammo but ended up staying for about an hour and a half speaking with Ron. I'm a young buck 22 years old and just last year started learning about and owning my own guns. Some gun stores intimidate with zero quality service but Ron is there to help YOU. Ammo, gear, guns, or even if you're on the fence about one, he'll research and really help steer you in the direction you're going for. His prices are good and there's a neat selection of handguns to try out. Glock, M&P, Sig, Kahr, XD, 1911s, S&W ARs.. & like the others have said - lots of beautiful M1 Garands. There's coffee, Miculek on the TV, and gun magazines to keep you busy if he's helping another customer. Overall, awesome time in the shop and I highly recommend stopping by. Thanks Ron!

Thanks to each who posted the kind words and encouragement. Everyone who's come into the store has been a pleasure to talk with.

I will be stocking reloading supplies very soon. Please check back. Also, my website should be "live" next week, I'm soon to be a calguns.net commercial vendor and will begin to post some "deals". - Ron

Let us know what powders and projectiles you have in stock, there's always a ton of need for components nowadays.

I also have (9) Finn M39's for you to handle, two of which are approx. 70 years old unissued examples without a round down the barrel.

Thanks again for all the encouragement.

Ron is an outstanding guy. He let me yak his ear off for over an hour the other day and I left feeling like I got a history lesson on the M39 and the other beautiful guns in his shop. I've only run into one or two shops like this in my life where the owner truly seemed to want to give outstanding service including asking the customer what he would suggest to make the shop even better. I have to point out also that not many shops have M1 Garands sitting on display these days...I was thoroughly impressed. I look forward to spending some money in this store...once I get some money again

What a great friendly shop. Visited this shop last week didn't spend a lot but got the royal treatment just the same. This is the way a LGS used to be in the old days.

All Cal gunners. You have to swing by this amazing gun store if you are in the area. Ron is a great guy. He introduced himself as did I, and called me by first name for the next hour and a half. Offered me a cold drink or coffee and asked what he could do for me. Treated seveal customers the same way as they walked through the front door as I watched. He was introducing the customers to each other as well. You can sit and read current magazines or watch firearms related videos. I picked up several tins of surplus as a steal of a price. He has a grip of 22lr ammo as well.

I thank for the time you spent BSing with me today. My son passed last Thursday and you helped me to dwell on something else other than my loss.

Thanks again Ron.

Thank you Paul. Your statement about losing your son stopped me short. I'm so sorry to hear that and don't know how a parent could even function after such a loss.

I lost my dad January 29th. I miss him and I will for the rest of my life.

I just stopped in and got a 91/30. I could not be happier. Ron is a GREAT guy and treats you right. His store is stocked pretty darn well too. There are lots of accessories and a good number of pistols as well.

I WILL be back.

Waiting on the website. I'll stop in during lunch at some point.

Are you offering FFL services for the PTP of Rifles/Pistols? Thanks

Had a day to kill so I hit up some guns shops in the area and decided to stop by and WOW was it an awesome experience. Spent about an hour/hour and a half talking with the owner and it was a pleasure. Learned some things and had a great time. To anyone thinking about stopping by, I highly recommend and encourage it.

P.S. - Yes, private party transfers of both as well as transfers between on-line sellers and the buyer.

Thumbs up A Pleasure!

I just completed a PPT with Ron, and he could not have been better to work with. Just opened 7 weeks ago, and could probably use some business. He's a great guy, a great communicator, and I wish him much success. I will go there again, even though it's not close to where I love, to give him business.

Stopped in to check this place out. Great atmosphere. And his transfer fee is only $30 plus DROS which is the cheapest I know of in the area.
