Default Unclaimed firearms

So Ive got a couple of firearms that have been sitting in my inventory for almost two years now. Both were purchased out of state and have come to my FFL for transfer. I have made several attempts to contact the buyers (both phone and email) with no response. What are my legal options in dealing with these firearms? They are doing nothing but taking up space.

I had this happen to a customer who got an indefinite delay from CADOJ. He never responded to my emails (3) so I sent a registered letter to his last known address telling him to contact me. He never did. I gave him a credit in my books for the price of the firearm he'd paid for from my stock and sold it to someone else. My receipts now say "Merchandise left over ninety days will be subject to forfeiture".

Not exactly the same as your situation but there may be something in there that helps.
