Got mine today too. The buffer is a standard gold assembly, NOT the black branded PSA buffer as shown in the pics.

Ever since the 'panic' that started back in late Dec, all of the PSA buffers has been the cheaper gold ones.... some posts about it where people have complained that they were $2 chinese ones with crap inside of them.

Mine still shows as processing, but it has shipped. So I'm assuming it is the same for you.

I placed my order June 9th, rec'd UPS shipping notification June 19th, a slight delay, no big deal. So it sounds like from a couple of the comments that the BCG is GTG, however I read a comment about a cheap buffer, is it worth it to swap out for Slash's?

The buffer is standard H-Type. Works but isn't as nice as a Spikes tungsten filled buffer

$449

Another value based decision. Good reviews all around, especially for the SS12G2

I plan on having quite a few diff AR15's, so I'm open to lots of configs and quality thresholds.

FWIW, I bought this one a few months ago, I'm very happy with it. I see the one you linked has a carbine lenght gas system. I've read a few post suggesting that isn't a good thing but I don't know why. I would think the shorter the better?

Got to love the sound of the UPS truck in the late afternoon. Good stuff...

I paid 200.00+ for a RRA AR-15 BCG just a few months ago.

I got mine last week. PSA did a good job shipping this out very quick! The upper I ordered from them took much longer. But even though it was a blem I can't find anything wrong with it! It shoots great!
