Good to see everyone out there. Good shootin' Nayt. Positive numbers in this match means you did something right! Hope you can make it to the next.

Jason, Pete-I'm already thinking about Vegas. Should be a good match...and some good buffets!

We're on the 1-500 METER range this time. 550 yards or so max distance. I have to get my dope in meters for this one.

simple meter to yards conversion.. and from 0 - 500 yds the difference in elevation adjustments are rather linear in relation to the distance if you already know your adjustments for 100 yd increments.. or close enough depending on target size. 700+ yds and it's a different story. You rely on a calculator or actual measurements?

Good thing you reminded me.. i'll have to prepare accordingly myself!

Going to be a darn fun trip. Breaking in my new pack too!

what you just said sounded way too confusing.

it simple layman's terms. Xmeters + 10%(xmeters) = yards

Yes. Thats the easiest. I'll be out at the range tomorrow chronoing loads for this weekend. I went back to APS and zeroed. I was a full minute high at 100, and my long range dope was off (high) as well. It'd be nice if I were getting more velocity than expected!

Makes sense in my head I was actually talking about shooting in different increments other than 100 yds since we'll essentially be converting 100 meter increments into yards. Nevermind.. that made just as much sense as before.. in the end, whatever works!
