If she isn't firing a weapon, it's a little too NASCAR for me.

Er...she's a model. If she can't take the criticism, she shouldn't do the work.

dunno if she's a model or not... OP says she's a friend.
regardless, i was just sayin'... nothing wrong with encouraging a little thought about the golden rule, is there?

A little info on Elizabeth, she's breaking into modeling and I've had the opportunity to teach her some basics and give her some experience.

+1... thought you had to be 18+ to get ink (even the parents can't okay it), and she's WAY too young to have been "inkable" before that became law.

I told my model/stripper friend Lisa about that calendar and shes like "Oh hell yeah I'll let you take pictures of me nude holding your guns" and I was like "but yeah I won't be taking the pictures and its for a good cause its for a gun Calender for this Pro-2nd amendment website I frequent" and shes like "oh I don't care for that I just want to hold the guns and you can take the pictures" She just dosen't get it.

My post is not going anywhere. Just because you don't understand the comment I am sure the OP does. He dealt with the issues through good posing, lighting, angles and understanding of the model's form. Even an extra 5lbs shows like significantly more in a photograph, especially if the above elements are not coordinated properly. I have a 5'5" friend weighing 105lbs who has looked very heavy in her modeling pictures by an unskilled photographer.

So to him, keep up the good work, to her, welcome to the industry.

If she's a model by trade then she should be used to criticism.

ARs, Asians, and big girls aren't included in my proclivities.'

ok sounds like folks think i was being overly sensitive regarding criticism of the model.
guess i was speaking from the experience of knowing young women with completely f_ed up self- and body-images due to the way popular media and society holds a near-anorexic unhealthy standard up as ideal. most girls don't need any encouragement to think of themselves as overweight, inadequate, and lacking in some way.
yes, modeling is an industry in which one had better be ready to swim in that pool. but i said what i did when it was unclear whether this was just some friend of the OP, or a professional model.
in any event, she looks great, and should be proud of her performance and achievements, as should the OP/photographer.
great photos, keep it up!
