Default Who owns a Fort Knox Safe

I was at the SD county fair on Friday and I came across a safe vendor at one of the booths. He told me the best safe he had (regarding body) two sheets of 14 gauge and a sheet rock center. WTF?? I then asked him if he carried Fort Knox products and he totally dismissed them saying they were inferior products to "American Security" and "Cannon" safes that he carried.

Gawd I wish I had the company's name but this guy seems full of it. I specifically remember him saying one of his safes with a 3/16" plate steel door was just as strong as a 3/8" standard steel counterpart, at which point I grabbed my wife and walked away.
