Default Painted My S&W 15-22 For Fun Pics

Started with Oregano then added some Desert Khaki...

I used the Pimp My Gun program to make a rough template / play with ideas before doing it.

Is it threaded?

Does it stay on well?

I have one of the adapters that stays on with four set screws and an A-2 FH, but after a few shots it just falls off and I'm too lazy to buy locktite.

Yea its threaded and stays on nice and tight. You need to have a threaded barrel to use it. No messing around with set screws. If you got any girls in the house a dab of their clear nail polish works just like locktite.

SUPER SEXY! I think it would tie together a bit more if the PG was tan too, but thats just me.

Ive been meaning to paint mine, Ive just got so many other projects!

Ive been leaning towards a desert tan type of color as well, but Im thinking Im going to make it all scratched up and what not. I was reading (well, looking at pictures anyway) a Japanese magazine that had all these pictures of various PMC guys out in the sand box, and a few them had carbines that pretty much looked like they just tossed on a bit of tan spray paint and called it a night. Many parts of the gun were worn down back to the black, and in some cases green. It looked tacticool!! Poser-ish idea I know, but hey... its a .22 for cryin out loud.
