Default Need help with 80 lower not looking for freebee

I am thinking about getting a 80 lower so that i can legally have an unregistered rifle and i just think it would be cool to say i built it. I am pretty handy with tools as i am a chassis mechanic. But my question, is there anyone in the la area that regularly finishes 80 lowers with a drill press or mini mill that would be willing to let me rent your tools and even pay you to help me finish it. I know its asking a lot but i figured id give it a shot. Thanks guys.

My friend I don't think there's too much in the way of paying/ renting to finish 80%'ers any more. TM sells the 80%er's but they've been out of the jigs for some time:

You might try 80% Arms to get 80%'s and jigs, maybe someone else can chime in:

Please read up on the law regarding 80% firearms. What you're asking here is illegal.

Now if you were asking for someone with experience to stand there and offer advice, I believe that is legal. But as far as "helping" that's a no go bud.

If you give people a straight line like that, this is about the level of response you are bound to get. Just be glad you didn't post "Date this rifle"... Those pictures are usually very disturbing.

Yes looking to pay to RENT tools not for them to do it for me i know that is illegal. I simply would need maybe so watching over to steer me in the right direction.

If you can't find anyone with a mill to rent you, maybe look into the polymer 80% lowers. They say those can be finished with a dremel. For a 22lr build it would hold up fine.
