Came to post the same.

Picked up 1500 rds.

If I had not just bought 1500 rds of Federal .223 from PSA yesterday at .45/rd, I would have bought 3000 rds of the Fiocchi.

Ammo has really started to come down this past week, for many calibers. I've seen a drop in the past week alone on FMJ/brass/boxer for most calibers from .10/.15 cents around. Will probably see another .05/.10 drop on most all ammo by end of August, and then steady out. It's unlikely it will reach pre 12/2012 levels unless the manufacturers over-compensate, which could happen. There is less demand from our military, people panic-buying these past 6 months are likely feeling their fill and the sore in their wallet, and not buying as much now. Summer is always slow on gun and ammo sales, and with kids going back to school soon, people will also pull back to spend on back-to-school supplies and tuition.

Until October/November... and whatever next legislation scare comes along.

my experience with Fiocchi has been bad enough that I warn everyone about it. I chrono'd it and its several hundred feet per second slower than even light loaded civilian ammo.

Interesting; several hundered fps slower is a drastic difference, unless it were being compared to XM193 / M855 NATO which is faster/hotter. I've had just the opposite experience on their .223 for both 55gr and 62gr as far as reliability goes (good), and have heard nothing but good stuff from others as well (though no, I never ran it through a chronograph so can't comment on the slower-speed factor). Plus the brass if great, better than most. It's always performed beautifully in all my guns shooting .223.

However, Fiocchi has been splitting up manufacture of their ammo between USA and Italy or elsewhere in the past year asn since 2008 - it would be interesting to determine the source-country on the stuff from which you received bad results.

I usually have max 2 inch spread at 100, but fiocchi I'm lucky to get under 4 inches. Maybe my dd hates it. I don't think I have any more I just rapid plinked it to dump it, someone had to

In this day, age and times, it is totally worth it to pick up UPS orders personally at their service centers.

You can set up a free UPS account, then select to pick up when you get the delivery notification email.

sorry to hear, sometimes they also delivery to my neighbors by mistake. call them and ask to see where it was delivered to to make sure if you not done so already. i think they have the gps coordinates when its scanned.
ups only rings my door bell when i have to sign, most of the time i go out and a package blocks my door.

Hi miuk,

Sorry, I never received the notification when you posted but luckily nephrodoc was able to help you.

The account is free and the updates are very timely. However, putting on my , UPS now allows you to log in using your Facebook account, which scares the heck out of me.

Yeah, OOS for me too. Sorry to hear about the theft... that stinks. Hopefully there is some liability for someone else beside you, Coolray.

Bumping. This is back in stock. Not sure if this is a good deal anymore or about the quality of the ammo. Any feedback from you all?

This ammo is good for me, seems more accurate compared to regular M193. I bought 1k rounds the last time.

**UPDATE**

$17.99 per box of 50 right now

went ahead and decided to try, bought 20 boxes

not sure if that's currently a good price, but, one of the better I've found
