Thanks Raymond. Great times.

I've already sent in my app for BARC. Definitely appreciate the pointers today.

Multigun practice this Saturday, shooters.

Let's end the year with a bang. Wake-up to some good multigun practice, and stillI get home by early afternoon to celebrate the coming New Year.

You know you've been meditating on a few things to make you faster and more accurate. You know youre dying to try-out those new rifle and shotshell loads. You know you're dying to get out there and blow-off a few hundred rounds with your 3-gun toys. You know you want to practice dissecting a stage with no help this time. (To see if you have done it correctly).

Anyhoo...I will be there bright and early for you guys. The club has committed to a venue for multigun growth, and I have committed to run and build these stages FOR YOU. (It is a 45 minute drive for me, each way...and as most of you know, I don't even shoot one round during these practice sessions).

See y'all out there.

In Christ: Raymond

PS: Remember, you cannot participate in the multigun practice unless you meet the above (first post) requirements. I will be verifying this!!

Oh, SMACK!!

Im totally discombobulated. Im a week early, ain't I?

Hmmm...let's see if there is an interest for a multigun practice before the year is over. If so, then I will get my sexceeness out of bed this early Saturday, and build a multigun practice stage for you.

If I get a commitment from AT LEAST SIX SHOOTERS, I will do some magic and try to pull through for y'all.

Post your commitments here!

In Christ: Raymond

PS: I cannot guarantee anything. But I do know who rules the roost, and can probably get the approval.

Buddy better have met all the requirements for shooting multigun at our range.

Still gathering interest for this practice. I will post the go or no-go for the practice Friday evening.

Make sure you check here on Friday night before coming Saturday morning! There may not be a multigun practice.

Cutting it kinda close, guys...but I decided against it.

Sorry.

I will be there Saturday afternoon building a pistol stage for Sundays match, then again on the first Saturday for the multigun practice, and then again on the second Saturday for the Safe Multigunner class.

Need some time to build abandoning and staging barrels (for multigun matches)...which I have been meaning to do for a looooooong time.

Also wanna let the pistol shooters have their Saturday practice bay back for the New Years Eve match on Sunday. I am working a few things out, but more will be revealed at a later date.

Sorry again for the tease, shooters. But bring your rifles and shotguns anyways. You can still practice your target transitions and trigger control on the static line. (No running and gunning). Just remember - NO SLUGS ON STEEL, AND NO SHOT ON PAPER!!! (You will be DQed).

See y'all next week...or tomorrow as I'm working on the barrels.

Hey Ray,
So we can still shoot pistol, rifle, and shotgun on the static line? Or just pistol or?
I'm new sorry, still not clear on what goes on Saturdays on the action bays.

OK...shot on paper is a procedural. I stand corrected, Vince-a-Rooni. (I spoke...err...wrote too soon).

Yes...like stated above, you can also shoot your rifle or shotgun at the static line during Saturday practice. But no moving. (No running and gunning).

Just spoke to Geoffrey earlier today. We will both be there on Saturday working on some multigun stuff. (Vince-a-Rooni...look for us at 0900 hours. We would appreciate some input in long gun natters).

Ray is next Saturday January 7 a go for the multigun practice? From the previous posts it sounds like you all got together on the 31st? Got the day off foe the 8th and I hope no rain. Completed your safe gunner class, ready to practice up for my first match.

He called off today's practice, but there was still the static line which is what I just got back from. Learned a few good points about safety and got to watch John Jardine smoke some plates with his blazing .45. I'll be there next saturday the 7th for the actual multi-gun stage. Gotta get my featureless build done and some shell carriers.

OK, shooters...

multigun practice for this coming Saturday. (January the 7th).

We "MAY" have something else for you...but I will let you know before the weekend. (Don't want to say anything until I know for sure).

I'm up in the air about asking "homey" to open the 200-yard range.

Not sure if the current shooters are "there" yet - and I'd hate for "homey" to set everything up over there (which is a lot of work), only to have two or three shooters show up.

I need to meditate on this a bit more, and will make a decision by Friday.

But no matter what...Saturday multigun practice in "ON".

In Christ: Raymond

Sorry one more: what kind of ammo load out would you recommend for the rifle and shotgun? I guess for the shotty, do we need buck, bird, and slug or just a few boxes of bird? Just need to know what to pack. Thanks!

Rifle: Whatever you want...but no steel/steel core ammo.

Shotgun: 2 3/4"...3 dram...7.5 shot. (Make sure it cycles before you bring it). No steel shot. If you want to bring some slugs to zero your shotgun, that is fine as well.

And come with a good attitude.

Hey, shooters...

another mulitigun practice is behind us.

We had a great turn-out (approximately 18 to 20 shooters at one time), and a good stage as well. I hope it was challenging for y'all, and gave you something new to work on, and new things to meditate on.

I wanted to incrporate some door entries with both rifle and shotgun in hand - which we did. (And safely, I may add). It was NOT a thinking stage, but it was not a hoser stage either. You had the opportunity to run at Warp-12 speed (during the shotgun portion), but you definitely had to slow down on the rifle portion. (As some of you DID NOT...and totally missed that one sneaky target). *evil grins*

Anyhoo...good to see your faces again. You guys are steadily improving, and that is the name of the game. There are a few good multigun matches coming-up soon...so get ready for them. These sessions are only practice. Practice to get you ready for the matches. So don't miss them!!!

And in closing, something was found on the multigun bay. It was a specific "tool". If anyone lost something, contact me directly on my DROID.

RaymondMillbrae@gmail.com

I need to know SPECIFICALLY what it is if you want it returned. If not, it will go to the person who found it.

Thanks again for the help in finishing the stage, and SUPER THANKS to the very few (four shooters) who stayed behind to help me tear everything down!

See y'all next month.

In Christ: Raymond

Thanks again Raymond. And thank you to the few shooters who stayed to tear it down. I wish I was among the few but my wife would kill me if I stayed any later. Now if you need help setting up for next month, I should be available. Morning setup works better for me than afternoon takedown. Sorry

Multigun practice this Saturday, February 4th.

The multigun season is getting ready to get underway, so you will be seeing more meat-eaters showing-up for the practices.

Pay attention to these guys!!!

By the way, if I do not know you, you will be getting checked to see if you are qualified to shoot. If not...then you will need to attend the SAFE MULTIGUNNERS CLASS to practice with us.

Safety, safety, safety!!!

See y'all Saturday morning, bright and early.

Raymond,

I am looking forward to this weekends practice. Since last month when I shot my pump action 20 gauge and Ruger 10/22 I have bought an AR and Benelli.

I have a few hundred rounds of practice in with the AR but the shotgun does not clear the 10 day wait till friday. I will try to get some reloading practice in friday night, otherwise I will be taking it slow and safe.

Still can't wait to get some practice in. I will be there early to give you a hand finishing up the stage,

Mike

Multigun this Saturday!

Thinking of putting out a few activated clays. (But not 100% sure yet).

Are your long guns cleaned? Do you have enough ammo? Do you feel the beast welling-up inside of you, just waiting to burst onto the bay with all "A" hits, and a smoking fast personal time?

Then c'mon down.

See yall Saturday morning.

And dont forget to pay your dues, and then sign-in on bay 3 before coming to my practice bay.

In Christ: Raymond

Yeah, you need to Goto the range office to the left after getting into the gate. Pay the $10. Take the receipt to bay 3 where there is an envelope and sign in sheet. Receipt in envelope, sign in and you're GTG. See you then.

I hope people aren't neglecting to do this. This helps to pay for these wonderful practices.
