Default Lawsuit against California

Hello everyone at the rate at which our new governor and California is moving, I think it is finally time we all got together and filed a lawsuit against California. We all shout just stand and watch this all happen, we need to tell all of our friends and and have the forum perhaps send an email to everyone notifying them that the lawsuit should be filed to protect our rights. I would hope for the NRA to get involved although that will take much longer. If there are any attorneys who can share some input on what we can all do as Californian 2A supporters that would be much appreciated.

Before you suggest that the Second Amendment is being violated, please keep in mind that the current case law on the Second Amendment only protects certain classes of firearms, and then only when possessed within the home.

If you're going to suggest a broader coverage of the Second, then you need to line up the supporting cases.

The development of new case law in this field is best left to the experts. So far, CRPA and Chuck Michel's law firm seem to be doing a very good job (even if his law partner was a "turncoat"). Best not to undercut their efforts.

I think the OP is onto something. Now hear me out on this. California sues Trump over everything. It doesn't even matter if they win. They just want to throw a wrench into his agenda as much as possible. We should do the same to Gavin and his band of merry idiots in Sacramento. Sue them over everything they propose.

Of course to do this we will need a billionaire with money to burn to bank roll this idea. Anyone know any Conservative billionaires with money they can toss our way?

Yes. We should sue a state which has virtually unlimited resources to fight (endless taxpayer support), a grim determination to fight and defend the laws, and complete disregard for any rulings that go against them. We’ll at best get a one week reprieve before some tool of a judge rescinds his decision, during which we’ll empty our wallets and bank accounts ordering online.

Save your pennies for a uhaul.

They're not liberals, they're leftists. Please don't use the former for the latter. Liberals are Locke, Jefferson, Burke, Hayek. Leftists are progressives, Prussian state-socialists, fascists. Liberals stand against the state and unequivocally support liberty. Leftists support state tyranny.
