Default Capital Gun Club, Roseville - Scammed?

So, a couple years ago, my wife and I signed up for a membership with CGC in Roseville. We paid our deposit and fulfilled our minimum membership term. We came to really enjoy the club and used it often. Now the club has suddenly closed and the owner is no where to be found along with our refundable deposit. Iím posting here with the hope that other members will come forward who are in the same boat as us. If you were a member of this club, feel free to post here or DM me. Thanks.

Sorry to hear it. Business model was a joke, saw it coming from day one.

It is to my understanding that the owner sold the business and fled to another state. Rumors, however.

Almost. Closed the doors, cleaned out the register, turned off the lights and walked away.

The rumor I heard is that he was having ďhealth problemsĒ and moved to Arizona to undergo treatment for said health problems. Probably on a beach in Mexico enjoying his cash. Hopefully, Iím wrong.

CP when where your dues paid (2019) and what did it cost?
Sorry for your problems. Any idea of how many members in the club?

Dues were $100 per month for my family and guests. There was a refundable $1000 deposit required. The dues money stopped being debited after I put in a stop charge with my bank but I have no way to get my deposit back.

CP, see if you can find out what vendor he used to debit your account. They're usually 3rd party companies that do so. They may still be in business with him or going after him on their own.

Sue him in small claims court. He's a garbage individual from what I understand.

A friend of mine belonged to that. I guess he got all of his guns back but it took like 6 months.

Default Gun Club Closed

Looks like that gun store owner flew the coop for other than health reasons.

Holy crap! Never saw this. I just checked my PM's. I guess I won't be getting my money back. I'm tempted to go to court just to sit in the gallery and see if he shows up. Crazy stuff.
