Default Holster List - makers and sellers

This is the best list I can make of Holster Manufactures and Distributors on the internet. When I post it there are 89 businesses listed. I delibertely left out the links that just lead you to more links, those aren't any fun. When I post this all the links work but if you find one that doesn't send me a PM and I will fix it or remove it. If you know of any other manufactures let me know and I will add them asap, I would like to eventually purge the huge distributors from the list and make the list more about the guys and gals that make holsters for me and you to enjoy.
Updated 9/30/2011, with thanks to TCB Firearms for the link-check, and to all the others who recommended a site.

Somebody sent me a pm about the Holster list so I had to bump it back to the top.

A couple other forums have made it a sticky so it stays up top nearly all the time, I want everyone to be able to use this as a reference whenever they are looking for a new holster. I posted it on XDTalk forum, the 1911 forum, GeorgiaPacking.org forum and a local group GON Forum. I need to log in to my account at the High Road and post it there too. Is there anywhere else I should post it? If you have a favorite gun related forum feel free to copy it and post it just as long as you give credit for it to the LoneOak and If you can make a mention of my favorite no Compromise 2nd Ammendment Grassroots orginization dedicated to the preservation and expansion of Georgia Ctizens firearms rights GeorgiaCarry.org it would be greatly appreciated.

Great list but I think the best custom holster makers are Kramer,Milt Sparks,Del Fatti and Lou Alessi. Most are reasonable priced but some have long wait times to make. Most of the off the self holsters are overpriced garbage .

Thanks for the compliment lepcur, it was a lot of work to begin with. I am trying to get a few days off work so I can catch up with the yard work and spend several hours updating my Holster List. I have posted it in about 10 different gun forums and have received gratitude from each and every one. I have also received many new manufactures that I need to add and hopefully I can get it done soon.

I am also working on a photo essay of my holster collection, which is not real fancy but contains quite a few pieces of some very fine leather and some mass market leather. It should be ready in a couple months and I will post it everywhere I can.

Beretta has holsters, although specifically for their models only. Beretta 92FS baby!

RSR Defense holsters. No complaints at all. I have had several long days at FS using these holsters - drawing and reholstering several thousand times without any issues whatsoever. The make the paddle to belt attachment as well. The price is crazy cheap at CDNN compared to other similar holsters or the same holster made under other names.

http://www.cdnninvestments.com/rsrdehose.html

IMI Defense http://www.imidefense.com/
(Formerly RSR Defense the website says)

I think its the same hoslter, but available for many more models. This is the Co website and doesnt show prices. Probably wont be as cheap as CDNN if you have the gun models CDNN carries.

May want to add Kholster... http://www.kholster.com/

Small maker of leather and kydex IWB concealment holsters. I just picked one up for a Glock 23, not as polished or detailed as some of the big names but much less expensive - $49. Very happy with it so far, will post pics to update my thread from a few weeks back when I get a chance. Good communication and service on my order.

3/28/10 update - Kholster has a 20% off special running through April, starting 4/1.

as you know, Bruce Nelson and Gordon Davis have both passed away but will be remembered as part of California's contribution to the history of gun leather....

I plan on updating the list sometime this coming fall. It was a time consuming process but I was recuperating from a back operation so I had plenty of time. I probably have 40 or 50 new links to add and another 20 to 30 to delete. I have saved every one that folks have posted and suggested. It also is posted in 10 or 12 gun related forums which takes a lot of time to do.

Thanks for the kind words about my list and stay tuned for the new updated list sometime this coming fall, it should be great!!

Calculated Sentience, LLC (heck of a name!!!)...from their Web site, "We manufacture custom Kydex holsters and accessories. Please browse our product gallery page - "Kaluban Cloak" - to get an idea about what we offer."

These are some great sites. However, I'm looking to pick up a holster for my Glock 19 (OWB/concealment) but I'm stuck on deciphering the differences between paddle, open-top paddle, and pancake are?

I'm loving the Safari Land holsters.. They're all gorgeous

Dunno if it's needed b/c it sometimes flashes up as a sponsor, but I've had good experiences from this company.

I checked a few and found some that have gone bad.

If someone would be so kind as to check the list in the first post, and report on the links that are dead, I'll update the list. If you happen to find the replacement link, if any, and include that, it would be nice.

Advthanksance.

All of my holsters are from Desbiens Gun Leather, a very talented holster maker here in Central California. Of course, he is my best friend, but most of the law enforcement folks in 3 counties use and swear by his holsters, as do a number of folks internationally; oh, and he is a really nice guy!

Thanks!

Updated first post, and I think I got all the later requests added.

I think, for this thread, we really want to concentrate on holster makers, not large-scale 'all kinds of gear' providers, but that's just a suggestion. Good holster suppliers of any size belong here.

Thanks for the add and i like the idea of removing the "retailer" side of it

Have not been in here for a long time, but I am sure some people remember me here. I have been extremely busy, so it is just a matter of priority and business reality. The link below is our website and it will take you to our own list of holster makers. Truth be told, we will not try to sell you anything. If you need to look for something, then you can use that list. One of our guys is always trying to update that list. I saw some makers here that are not on our list, so we will update it as soon as we can.

Can somebody recommend a good shoulder holster company/ Looking for a shoulder holster for trips to AZ. Easier to carry there than in the waist band while riding a motorcycle.

What have you looked at already?

A Google search returns a BUNCH of shoulder-holster makers.

Just been browsing CGN and the vendors and sponsors of the site. I have not seen anything that has caught my eye yet but I am new and looking for advice to help me in the direction that may help me. I think the best thing for me would be hit a show so I can see and try on some of the offerings. I do not want to waste money on trial and error. I am also looking at belt holsters for the waist area for range and open area shoting. We go to the desert alot and I want something for holding the gun while plinking/practicing and getting comfortable with the gun for SD/HD.

Davis Gunleather!

They make the iconic "omega t" holster that most ipsc shooters used in the eighties.

Davis Leather Company bears the name of the late G. WM. Davis (Gordon Davis) and has continued to carry on his tradition of high quality.
