Just installed cocobolo grips on my CZ 75B. They're not as grippy or tactical as the black rubber grips but I just love the look and feel of wood.

Flat triggers are no go for CZ decockers, they are for single action only CZ's. While it is technically possible to install a flat trigger into a decocker and convert it to SAO, it dose not make much sense to do it. In my opinion you are better off saving the SAO conversion for a safety model CZ.

As to the comp hammer, i am all for it. I see the comp hammer as the highest value part you could install into your CZ. If you decide to get it make sure you order the comp hammer for decockers, they are different than the safety model hammers.

Sweet blaster. What size front sight is that and what is the point of impact? Any plans on going with the adjustable rear sight?

LoL.

Some of you guys must have lots of patient and skills. Luckily I haven't ordered the race hammer for the decocker since it was out of stock from cz custom.

Its the one listed for the stock TS rear sight. CZC - CZ Fiber Optic Front Sight 1.0 x 7.5mm (3.1mm Blade). I have not shot out past 15yards, at that distance it seams to be on target. I plan on benching it soon to get a better idea of where its at so i can try and take it out further. I really like the stock TS rear, its big and flat and a slide racker.

I grabbed up another TS slide to build a long slide with (long term project). It came with the adjustable rear so ill throw it on the TS frame in the next few week and give it a try.

Haha, glad you got her back together. Getting those things back together is an accomplishment. Some of the pain can be avoided by using a slave pin. I did one a few weeks ago without disassembling the sear cage. The sear cage pin can still be a pain though. It likes to eat the FPB lifter springs going back in so i install them last before driving the pin home.

40 B (Black) 01700 / Steel, Alloy. The SKU is listed - 01700.

No SKU would be a good thing, less crap when you try to DROS it.

CZ n00b question,

On those CZ 75B's, the full size guns with no rail, why do some have a sharper beavertail than others? Is that a custom job, a specific model or do all recent model CZ 75B's come with a newer frame that has a sharper more pointy beaver tail?

Indeed, the SP-01's, 75 SA, 75 Stainless, 97's and 75 Omega have the longer up swept beaver tail. The short dust cover 75/85's and 75 compact have the short beaver tail. The aluminum framed compacts (P-06, PCR, P-01) have there own profile. Its just model specific.

I find that the longer beaver tails allow a little higher grip on the pistol. I don't really notice the difference most of the time when shooting a 75 though.

Was in Turners and decided to hold a CZ and see what the hype is all about. It felt very comfortable. Now all I have to do is save those pennies!!!

It was easy cause I have experience building rc kits and believe me those damn 1/8th on-road kit are really hard to put together.

I like your two tone themes. What grey is that? CZ comp hammer, comp sights, 85C trigger shown in the exterior. I'll guess a trigger job 10# recoil spring, short reset with fpb and upgraded disco to remove slack on the SPO1? Heinie slant nose rear sight, front sight both with tritium, CZ decocker comp hammer, 85C trigger, trigger job, short reset with upgraded disco on the P-01

P01 - basically a CZ Custom SDP package with SRT, custom mix stainless cerakote on the frame with midnight blue on the slide/controls.

SP01 - I use a 11# recoil spring and a fitted CGW type 1 disco with everything else you listed. The frame is cerakoted tungsten with armor black on the slide/controls.
