Everyone has seen it now but I'd add it here since it does fit with the topic:

Awesome, didn't know how you got the leaves. I was looking at some camo form jobs and they look nice. Yours takes it up a notch.

Cal, I picked up the tape and 3-D tape at Bass Pro Shops. I think you can order it online too.

Finally! haha, nice to see a Marlin .22 in the thread. I'm thinking about going with a magpul tan on the stock and some type of olive on the receiver/barrel/everything else but I'm not sure what kind of work that will require.

Took me awhile to bite the bullet and do it as well man... Just throw your rifle on the ground and run a big *** stripe of paint across, once the first pass is over it's nothing

Hell man they are just tools... They are going to get banged around and scratched up anyway... Might as well hit em with the rattle can haha

yea, im scouring gunbroker for a mini 14 stock so i can test it out.

what is better to paint, wood or composite?

the wood on my mini14 is too classy and smooth i couldnt bear myself to paint over it. im thinkin about grabbing one of those black stocks.

Never tried to paint wood before but I wouldn't imagine it being much different... One thing you could try different patterns on is BB gun if you have one handy

Here is mine setup for "Nighttime Pest Eradication" missions haha

Very innovative!!

These are more of a home job as I finished them for a friend a few months prior to the launch of Armory Airbrush;

thanks, no, it wasn't too bad. it just cost me 2 cans of brake cleaner an afternoon and a tooth brush. the brake cleaner didn't affect the plastic by the way.

i just wipe it down with rubbing alcohol and an old t-shirt. as for paint, i've used alumahyde ii spray paint available at brownells.com or rustoleum brand spray flat primers and colors available at home depot.

here is my multicam job, I still need to add tan and let it dry and set so it's not done yet but as you can it blends in with uniform very very well.
(Note the pattern is horizontal not vertical been you would holding the gun across you not vertically)

If anyone want's me to paint their gun I ll do it for $50 + you pay shipping to send your gun back

I can also do Marpat (note this was not a complete I have not added details yet)
