I don't intend to make this into a big deal, but my multi-page Turners ad book definitely had shotguns - from several manufacturers.

26 different shotguns, almost half of all the long guns advertised in the flyer...and you have to ask if I'm being sarcastic?

Might come out on Friday(or Thursday afternoon/evening). Usually, they'll have copies at the store for you starting Friday.
Wish I could buy the Beretta Silver pigeon

Interesting, this is the first ad I seen since the last fall ad where glocks and sigs are not on sale.

I saw that too, and my first thought (perhaps wrong) was why put them on sale in the current environment? They probably are selling quite well without having to entice people to buy them w/ a sales price. (assuming the sales prices are there to drive slower moving inventory)

They had a lot of stuff on sale 2-3 weeks ago, I believe. All dies on sale, bullets on sale, etc. I forget if they have additional weekly sales on top of this ad or not.

As far back as I remember they continue to have weekly flyers, off the hook and possibly CG specials.

A week ago, I drove down to Turner's Reseda to see if they had the Savage Axis in .223 Rem. A young man said they don't have it. I got the catalog in the mail yesterday and there it was. Argh.

I haven't gotten mine either. What's the point of signing up for their mailing list if you get the flyer after its available in the store?

Just to clarify: the sale goes into effect 8/10 (tomorrow!)?

Can you get the sale price before it starts? If so, I might just head over today =).

EDIT: Oh, does anybody know if they have copies of the ad at the stores yet? I have not received mine in the mail (I registered for it only a few days ago so I may not get it at all).

The Turners in West Covina did this afternoon. They were right next to the Stop SB249 flyers.

EDIT: Seems like the website is overloaded lol. All this popularity is more reason to go as early as possible.

kinda disappointing flyer. Sometimes its better just to shop around online and play the waiting game.....especially when its like 40.00 dollars cheaper regular price somewhere else.......oh Turner's what is going on over there?

I was itching to get my hands on the catalogue since I'm in the market for a bolt action rifle. They had a few, but not the 2 that I'm interested in. What a shame

Yes it is. Stainless: $299.98.
The entire ad is on their homepage.

From the looks of it, the glass is clear and feels solid. I'd say perfect for 50 yds, 100 yds is a tiny bit blurry, but for plinking it's ok.

Also bear in mind that it is the start of various hunting seasons from about 2 weeks ago to until middle to end of February of deer, bobcat, and birds. This is the time for we hunters to stock up and that is the way they probably tailored the ad.
