California Legal Rifles
Hello Atlantic Firearms:
I am interested in buying a rifle listed in the " California Legal " section. At first, I talked to a FFL friend of mine so that I can him receive the firearm, yet he warned me to ask: " Is this particular rifle registered at the CA DOJ as a california legal? " . When I called a rep from Atlantic Firearms and asked him that question, he told me " It is up to the FFL to make sure that this firearm is registered, not up to us ", and he cited that " each FFL in CA interprets the law differently." And seriously, I don't know which way to go and who is right. I will buy the desired rifle ONLY if it is REALLY California Legal. Your answer is highly appreciated and important. thank you Robert |

We do not register guns with the DOJ & are not aware of anyone who currently submits rifles to DOJ . We did not tell you it was up to the dealer to make sure it is registered waht we explained to you is it up to the dealer to decide if they are comfortable transfering the item to you. Some dealers view the mag locks , mag rebuild kits and bullet buttons diffrently. Again their is no real registering of the items with CA DOJ.

Props to Atlantic, I have bought some good stuff from them. Buying guns out of state is always a bit harder but worth the extra effort. |

Hi. I am interested in the PTR91, especially the PTR91 KF and/or KC models. Do you sell either of these models in a California legal configuration? I believe that the KC is the likely model for CA legal, but not sure.
Thanks, Chad |
