Default PTR 91 Bullet Button

What bullet buttons are you guys using on the PTR 91's? are they anything like the solar tactical AK bullet buttons that don't require any permanent mods to the gun? Thanks

hk type rifles are held in place between the lower and upper assemblys. if you remove the trigger pack the bullet button falls off.

Assault Planet HK 91 bullet button is a more permanent(easily removed with no alteration to rifle) option but its a little more involved installation. There's a great tutorial here:

The one from Atlantic (Raddlock, I hear) has a slightly smaller mag release button and a plastic shroud that is held in place by the trigger pack.

to install, disassemble rifle (2 pins) remove the pin that attaches the factory push button to the mag catch, replace with Raddlock button, pin button to mag catch, place shroud over button (may need to trim to fit, it's plastic and easy), re-assemble rifle, go shooting.

I have a PTR91 from Atlantic with the Raddlock it works fine you just have to be careful when you break the gun down because the button shroud will fall off. I have a Bullet Button on my MKE94 it was a pain to install but is locked in with a clip so won't fall off.

Thanks, the reason I ask is because I travel out of state often. So when I go to AZ I like to just take off the bullet buttons, and I was wondering if it was as easy to do as it is on AK's and AR's

Oh if you want it to be easy to pull off and on get the Radlock for sure. The Bullet button is held on by a C clip and is a pain to get on and off but is much more solid. The Radlock on my PTR comes off a little too easy. In fact you have to be careful when breaking it down or you will loose the shroud.
