Article 92 - Dereliction of Duty
"A service member who is derelict has willfully refused to perform his duties (or follow a given order) or has incapacitated himself in such a way that he cannot perform his duties. " Which includes sleeping. |

This, paperwork doesn't get the point a cross, and is gay Its like a mom politely asking a kid to stop throwing a fit in toys r us or telling your dog its a bad boy for ****ting on the floor. Guess the military just keeps getting softer.
Had a guy ND a 240b when clearing it when we rtb to speicher, by the end of the evening he was doing flutter kicks with an IV in his arm. He never had a ND again, also ended up getting his E5 shortly after we returned from our 15 month deployment. I made my share of mistakes as a young soldier, and paid for them in sweat, not ink. Where's the E4 mafia when you need it? |

Me? Only about a thousand or so. You're half right, it does have specific articles and it also can be "tailored to the situation." |

Paperwork was used to build history when dealing the occasional useless body that was just not going to shape up and was unable to cope with military life.
Every time they get on the wrong side of a rule you document it. Then when they have a oops that they might get away with you bury them...only had to do it a couple of times in twenty years but it worked.
