looking for the best deal in a ruger 10/22 takedown "OC"
Well it is time for me to add that ruger 10/22 takedown to my line up. I do not have a 22LR at all. turners has them for a bit off MSRP. If there is some smaller shop out there that had a seller deal out there let me know. thanks
only looking in the OC at this time. |

Purchase b4 Jan 14
Go to Turner's for the best price. You can also go to www.rugerforum.com and www.rimfirecentral.com for more info. RC has a complete section on the TD as well as a lot of normal info on trigger upgrades and other things you can do yourself or buy from a supplier. Good luck

Well I put some cash down on a new 10/22 takedown at Turner's. put it on layaway so i can pay some cash over time. Need to keep it off my card to keep the wife happy. 1st time I have ever used the layaway.

Consider an aftermarket extractor, an auto bolt release, an extended bolt handle, and a target hammer.
Makes the 10/22 very sweet. |

I have the 10/22 TD and love it. The only modification I did was to add a VQ drop-in trigger, which really does make a big difference. My TD eats any .22 LR rifle-suitable ammo that I feed it. I mainly shot Federal Bulk until this year's craziness; now I feed it whatever I can find and I have had zero issues.
Turner's in Fountain Valley is usually the place to go to buy the TD and they always seem to have them in stock. Great people there; they will show you anything you need to know about your Takedown.

For some reason my TD fouls quicker than any 22 I've owned.
Shooting crap like Thunderbolts really takes a toll. However I love my TD. Congratulations on the new rifle, now the fun of finding ammo begins!
