My drop holster (with Tac Light) from High Speed Gear will arrive on Monday. I ordered it for my USP Expert .45 with M2 light. Will post some pics when it arrives.

OK...

I've got a mid 90's police trade in USP with a heavy LEM - 7.25 LBS by the scale.... I know that I can put a lighter trigger return spring in in and it would be spiffy.... the wife want's it to be a standard v 1 gun... thinking cocked and locked (v9?) match trigger.....the gun was virtually brand new.. night sights still work better than my old duty gun....when I bought it last year and now has about 600 +/- rounds through it... it is the single most accurate 40 I own... bought a gen 4 glock 22 and this gun beats it hands down....

so anyone got any suggestions on converting the trigger?

Are any of you guys that have HK45's in or near Santa Barbara County? I am interested in getting an HK45 (or HK45c) but I really want to avoid buying it without holding it first only to realize it's uncomfortably large in my hands. So I'm hoping someone who has one would be willing to let me hold it to see if it fits my hands or not. I know it's a long shot but hopefully someone near me has one.

Even though jkonquer decided to go with the safariland holster, I'm still posting pics of the High Speed Gear drop holster I got yesterday.

How do you like it so far?

Was looking at the Blackhawk Omega VI for my HK45 but they dont have one specifically for it(pretty sure USP version will still fit though, not like it was molded like kydex).

I have several soft drop holsters and I have to say this is one of the finest pieces I've seen. The material and workmanship is top notch and the design was thought out well. Each one of these is hand made for whichever gun and tac light (if desired) you order. They do need to be broken in a little and I'm working on that right now. Likely will not use the mag pouches on the front of the holster (like in the first pic), but they will be used elsewhere. The single buckle mesh saddle thigh mount is different from the standard two strap design, and I will need to see how secure it is after its broken in more. Cost was about $25.00 more (plus shipping) than the Omega VI.

I bought a hogue grip for my full sized HK USP .40 cal. It is way too big.

Can anybody point me to a link for a hogue grip that specifically fits the USP .40 cal full sized?

Thanks!

I'm contemplating whether to go with installing a HK USP Tactical threaded barrel and screwing on a full compensator or have what you have done ... I use +p ammo on my USP and it has too much front flip; would like to tame it alittle bit more...

installing a barrel compensator might be dicey as to being legal- if it is removable you would technically have an assault weapon.

was planning on having it pinned or just use some red locktite on it ... The walther p22 which is California legal has a threaded barrel which is also locked down the same way ...

I have a threaded barrel for my G19 with a red loctited nut- the comensator however will not allow the barrel to be removed from the slide if it has a larger OD than the barrel- it might make cleaning inconvenient....

Not a problem when since I dont run lead ... If I'm not mistaken your G19 and my HK USP share the same polygonal barrel, which doesnt lend itself well to lead bullets... Plus nothing a good bore snake or a long bronze brush will do ...
