Remington rifles
Hey all, I recently inherited some rifles from my grandfather that i'm trying to learn more about. Im under the impression that these are early 1900's Remington rifles, any info about these is appreciated as well as interest. Trying to figure out the caliber and what they might be worth! Thanks.

Some nice rifles! The top I recognize as a Rolling Block, the one with the side lever may be a Hepburn, but I am not at all sure. Search out the American Single-Shot Rifle Association Forum to really find out what your grandfather left you.

The Middle one is a Remington-Hepburn No.3 Midrange, depending on caliber and the front sight that I can't make out, in that condition, about $6K and up.
Bottom is a Remington No.5 1902/1910, likely chambered in 7mm Mauser. Top is either a No.1 Sporting, or a No.5 1897. Pic is too small and too dark for me to make it out. Can you take some well lit closeups of the barrel markings, they should be marked for caliber. |
