I'm not sure if it carries any weight with you, but EPP is owned by Mickey Fowler's son Logan...who holds the national record for GSSF plates

How much do you have invested into that beautiful m&p with the dak trigger and trijicon HD sights? That's exactly what I want but on the pro long slide.

I assume you mean mine?

I bought the gun used from a close friend for a steal and had the following work done from APEX:

Duty/Carry Action Enhancement Kit
Polymer AEK trigger
RAM
Failure-Resistant Extractor
installation of Heinie Stright-8 Sights

New pic of my M&P9 Talo with recently refinished slide and TLR-3 light. I need to work on taking a picture without a glare to really show it off. The TLR-3 was my Christmas present. The threads about a home defense gun having a light sunk in finally.

I must be taking a long time getting used to the small size and light weight of this pistol. I am more accustomed to shooting my 1911 almost exclusively and just comparing the two, the 1911 is just so much easier to shoot. I feel like there must be something I am doing wrong maybe you guys can help me identify that or at least give me an idea of what to try differently.

I have one really newb question to get out of the way... is it a big deal if i shoot normally (right handed) but use my left eye to line up my sights? I am a lefty and I learned to shoot a rifle backwards (ie lefthanded) but when shooting a pistol it feels more natural to use my right hand primarily. Is that bad?

whats frustrating me is that my shots seem to be grouped OK but they are ending up in the 6-9 oclock regions as indicated by the red region here.

These are all at 7 yards. 115g FMJ

so looking at these, any clues as to why I am sucking so bad at this?

Thanks guys!
Looks like you're use just your finger tip....try a little more finger. That should bring it back to center for you....

Had some stipple work done by Chris Hardin of Lightfighter Innovations. His work was recently featured in Guns & Tactics Magazine. A severely injured Army vet, this guy has an amazing talent for attention to detail and artistic work.

He has a 42 hour turnaround and excellent communication.

Stippling was done to my carry gun, M&P Shield 9mm, and current competition gun, M&P45.

They just started making it. I was lucky enough to get the first one off the production line.

Stipple is $120-135 depending on what you want. He also gives a MIL/LEO discount if you qualify.

Absolutely love my M&P9. The APEX trigger kit really make this gun very easy to shoot and shoot well. Planning to use this at the Police Academy.

Mine is absolutely stock, so unexciting. So here it is with a holster I made for it. If anyone is interested I'm going to make a few more in the next week or two and won't be charging the earth. I have some black, OD Green a Coyote Tan Kydex to play with.

Excuse cellphone pics, my DSL only just came back to me.

It wasn't necessarily directed at you, but more so at the fact that other people may be exposed to and even shoot your gun.

Personally, I wouldn't want to paint a gun a color that's universally designated for training, but YMMV.

My stock M&P9 looks like everyone else's stock M&P9, so you've already seen what mine looks like. Now I just have to wait for my Shield to come in. Have to get it SSE'd first.

Never shot one...but soon will. Looks like from pictures that the stock trigger is a long pull. How many pounds pull is the stock trigger?
