Default Cheapest bulk .22 ammo? (5000 rounds bulk)

In the market for good bulk .22 ammo. i can remember a thread for a great deal on CCI but the search function here sucks. If anyone can lead the way to the best deals on the internet it would be great.

I'm talking 5000 rounds bulk. Sorry for the confusion, I changed the title to the thread. Looking for a good large bulk buy with cheap shipping.

Definitely not a good deal.

Dunns sporting goods is what you're looking for. Here it is.

https://www.shopdunns.com/products/2...r_5000rd_case/

I've added 10 of the individual bulk packs to the shopping cart before since they are ~$12 a piece, but shipping is ~$45 and made the 5000 round case a better buy. Free shipping. $16.50 a brick is pretty awesome imo.

If your in SoCal I think I seen a bulk box of Blazer at Ammobros for $175, also would hit the gun show this weekend if your near the O.C., there is always some great deals on ammo there.

As far as internet, I have never bought ammo via the internet.

Order 10 boxes of CCI Blazer 525 for $14.99 each and shipping will only be $20 from http://palmettostatearmory.com/. So that comes down to $169.90 for 5250rds for a savings of 0.064 cents/rd over Dunns, a whopping $3.35 savings for the whole 5250rd order. With such a miniscule difference, go with whoever has better customer service. Haven't ordered from either so can't comment on customer experience.

You need to get familiar with this forum and search under the proper subforums and you'll realize your search will work much better. Just because you can't use it doesn't mean "it sucks."

Also, do you know CCI Blazers have a light coat of wax? If you are planning to shoot it in a semi-auto the wax will build up and you'll need to cleanup more often than copper plated ammo.

Buy what shoots good in your firearm even if you have to clean more often.

I know how to use the search function and I still think it sucks. And yeah I shoot the CCI cause my gun loves them. I went with Dunns, I'll see how it goes.

Just ordered this friday and supposed to be here today. Good customer service, actually it went order online, get confirmation email, get shipped email... I never spoke to anyone so I guess I don't know how thier c/s really is.

I didn't realize this, I know the winchester/remington bulk would not cycle reliably if at all. They also seemed to be loaded with some type of grit/sand inside the packaging.

The latest of the Federal 36gr CPHP bulk I got (from Cabelas) has some heavy wax on them too, I clean after every range visit so doesn't make a difference for me.

I don't know where you are located, but I keep my eye on the Ammo Brothers add, I got 5250 rounds of Blazer for $139.99 from them not too long ago.

That ammo can be had from dunn's (when they have it) for $160 shipped. In fact I would bet the guy bought it from dunn's.

I picked up a case of Blazer for $150 out the door at the october Crossroads gun show. There were several vendors there with similar prices.
