jeebus we're having a blizzard of threads about single-shot weapons.

Coincidence, or are the posters of those threads really working for the anti-gun movement, trying to get us to accept zero capacity magazines?

On a serious note, why, can't that big storage area in the grip be made into a small magazine, so you can fire, say three 2.5" .410 shells before reloading?

Yes, I never understood "survival rifles", but I guess some people must like them if there's a market for them.

I think this little pistol is sort of cool. Would I rather have The Judge, yes.

I'd think the Taurus Judge, with its 5-round cylinder which can load 410 ga. or .45 Colt, would be a better choice.

Bond has made a .410 / .45 derringer for some time. They provide 2 shots:

1 shot for $499? Nope. The Judge and even the Bond are much better deals considering the increased firepower. It's a moot point since we can't own any of them here in Kali anyway.

Just to clarify it. We CAN OWN Judge in CA. It's transferred as an AOW by adding an extra forward grip and requires a federal stamp and a bunch of paperwork, but it CAN be done.

For those in Southern CA, talk to OC Armory and see how it can be done.

I know it seems odd but Californians, like pretty much everybody else, like to discuss gadgets, tools, cars, guns and other things whether they can afford or legally purchase them or not. Just because they can't buy it doesn't mean they aren't interested in talking about it. If Calguns is good for anything, it's good for generating verbiage.

I like it better than the Double Tap, I think the 410 might be pretty useful for killing small game in a survival situation, but who know my 410 experience is very limited. As of now I think I will stick to my .22

Don't know why but something tells me if you had someone on top of you trying to do you harm, one shot anywhere in the torso would probably end the scuffle.

Would I buy one? No
Would I CCW one? No
Doesn't mean I don't think they are cool though.
