For what it's worth, I got a 4 week turn around on a JD lower (gotta love the made in SD mark) post crazy at Team Big Shot. They said they are getting in 25 lowers per week on contract with JD. It was a faster turn than even going down to JD was. Rather than sit on an 8-10 week turn direct you can try to get in with them. Super awesome guys at that shop, too.

Ordered mine on 12-19-12, received it on 2-19-13. E-mailed on 2 occassions and called 3 times got no response on anything. I have 2 .223 and 2 308 lowers from them, all but the last one were bought pre panic. I fully realize they are probably slammed but a little better customer service letting folks know some idea of the status would sure be nice. Maybe an update on their web site with where orders are.

I went in on Tuesday looking for an upper as I was told they would receive Monday...got there and was talking to the main dude who was a little irritated and mentioned they were there, but had nasty blotches and were unsellable, apparently their anodizing shop is slacking, this has put them behind on uppers 3-4 weeks as they have to send the parts out to a new shop. There could be a slight possibility that the same anodizers were used for lowers and uppers. Regardless ill be going in later in the week and can get slightly better idea on the lowers situation.

I ordered back at the beginning of January, have been trying to cancel for two weeks now. Multiple voice mails left, multiple emails sent, completely ignored. Will take it up with my CC company now I guess.

That is not even a bad wait time considering how backordered everyone else seems to be, plus, they are not gouging. I put my order in on 1/18 and it was $139, as I look now at the website it is $149. They could charge $250 and no one would blink.
If someone is going to go down there in person, it would be great if we could get someone there to update to this thread, seems like there are a fair number of ppl interested. |

I think quite a few people would blink if they tried charging $250 a lower. You can get quality lowers for $200 on a regular basis right now.

Went to buy 2 lowers today. Spoke with another calguns member and he stated he waited 2 months. The sale rep said 15-16 weeks. I'm assumming my order should take a little longer since one is paint filled (cal guns). Looks like more people picked up than to buy today. Can't waittt, well I guess I have to!

Maybe one of you can answer this real quick before I call. If I do the In store pickup do they call me in 15 weeks when it's ready. Then I drive down to do DROS and then come back in 10 days again? Trying to decide if its easier to drive or transfer.
Thanks |

You fill out dros undated and once your lowers are ready you pick up! I remember when I bought my Aresenal at a lgs, I put a deposit on the rifle, came back for dros and finally picked it up 10 days later. What a hassel but I guess it was worth it. I'm glad I don't have to deal with that here!
