My build in progress...

Had this lower sitting in a box since the "two weeks" era of the OLL movement. And soon it'll be all grown up and dressed instead of it's naked form...

I really like the CA lowers it's the ultimate middle finger gesture to this state.

I see that it has a grizzly on it, but maybe my computer screen is too small because I'm reading: West Jordan, UT for the place of manufacture over by the FCG.

I know that Kaiser ones were made down in San Diego, now it's JD or something like that isn't it?

Yeah, they're not Kaiser or the CA lowers that were specially made. They didn't have those CA lowers available that early in the OLL movement. You know, top-loading since the bullet button wasn't invented yet. These were one of the hand full of brands that were imported to CA during those tough trying times. Two weeks they said and I bought a few for extra measure. There weren't that many brands to choose from back then...

My Noveske N4 pistol lower is also at Riflegear. I PPT/Dros'd it last Saturday, so I have 7 days left. I'll post pic of it with accessories later.

Thanks Jeffu and Zach for a no hassle transfer and GREAT price!

No reason to be sorry Tom. I was actually confirming your post, at least that's how it was suppose to come out. I sure hope I didn't come across like that...

Oh, and thanks!!!

I'm a bit amused by the bare carpets.
It's an invisable gun!

And, the order in which some of these guys buy parts for their builds.

It just goes to show, to each their own.

Here's how I had documented my build...
It's already built up...
But here's the in-progress pics as my parts arrived at home

Lar-Grizzly lower out of jail

double star LPK and Bullet button arrived

CAR-15 stock and buffer arrived

XM-177 flash hider is here

XM-607 Handguard....

And now we have the tool...

Sadly I forgot to take a picture of when my upper arrived
I guess I was too excited to start building

Both are stamped AK kit builds on the new AK Builder (trimmed and bent top rails) flats and bending jig. I love these new flats because there is no indexing hole in the front of the lower receiver. Just like the original rifles they were, the only markings are on the front trunnion, bolt carrier, bolt, and misc. other original parts.

The top one is a Romanian under folder and the bottom one a Polish UF.
The Romanian UF build is going to cost between $400-$450. That's with a $300 Romy UF parts kit. The Polish UF build costs between $500-$550, with a $400 Polish UF parts kit.

How to pin the folding stock:

My 3rd time building this one up, so far this is what I have.

Still waiting for the FDE MIAD Full Kit, FDE Rear MBUS. Not shown is the fAog clone until I can get a real optic. Also the most anticipated part of all a Addax Tactical ATAC Side-Charging 16" GPU Also not shown is the Black TacStrap w/ US Flag.

If and when I can try out a Trijicon Accupoint I would love to check one out before I buy one for $800 or more with mount.

In progress and almost finished!

- Nodak slick side upper
- LMT full auto BCG
- CMMG lpk
- C products 10/30
- Forged charging handle

I'm selling my commercial stock assembly and replacing it with milspec so I can use my new VLTOR stock that I got on sale . My barrel assembly is in the mail on it's way to me. I got the Bushmaster 14.5", chrome lined and 1/7 twist. It should get here in the next couple days so I can bring it to RifleGear and buy a Phantom comp and have that pinned on. Next month I'm getting a DS arms lower so I can finish this thing. Later on I'll replace it with a Nodak retro lower to match the upper. Then I just have to fin my grip, pin the stock and get an A1 sight kit and I'm done.

The A2 receiver is for sale too, look up my for sale thread if you want some cheap parts... I need to sell them

This is a cool thead!!!I know it don't look like much, but we all need to start somewhere. All the parts I have here where parts given or traided. Have a long way to go but I"ll get there.

Default 80% AR Pistol Build

Still need to get it engraved and finish putting it together with a single shot mag to stay within CA Compliance. Still debating as to whether or not I want to use a RRA Pistol Buffer Tube of the GSE Buffer Tube instead

I've got the bottom half so far built on a Noveske N4 lower... Saving for a Noveske 14.5" Afghan upper.

Going to put a 16" Mid-Length flat top upper on this, probably go with the Troy rear BUIS and then whatever Aimpoint I can afford (the RDS will be a ways down the line.) I wish the MOE midlength handguards would hurry up and come out.

And yeah, I went with the Stark grip w/ integrated trigger guard because I broke the trigger guard tab/ear. Oops. Lesson learned.

All that's missing are the rings, scope mount, Strap-On Cheek Piece and Picatinny Tri-Rail System
