Shooting near Lake Camanche
Hello CalGuns,
My very large family have a camping trip at lake camanche in Ione, CA. Just wondering if you guys know or have any experience shooting in this area. I am from Sacramento and we have our awesome BLM but most of my family are in the Bay Area who have never experienced shooting outside the range. If you guys have any suggestions, please share. If you feel you need to keep it private, PM me. Thank you.

There is trap shooting I know of think they have an outdoor range

Sacramento Valley Shooting Center is the place to shoot near Ione. Their address reads "Sloughhouse" but it's really closer to Ione, where Lake Camanche is. Their website is http://www.sacvalley.org/
They have rimfire, handguns, rifles and shotguns, open to the public any day but Wednesday and Thursday. Go to the website for driving directions. Do NOT use GPS, you'll wind up in the back 40!
