But like I said before I wouldn't have brought it from grabagun if I knew every shop have it in stock now. I would've rather give my business to the local gun shops.

Damn! I should've just bought mine there-- such a tard. I did a private transfer party for a sale, and totally forgot to ask them when I was at Ammo Bros. Instead I went to Turner's afterwards for the preorder ($379+tax, etc.), and they don't even have an ETA; well, roughly "October" but they didn't say early or late October.

Wait a second, if they did not assign you a serial number yet, you can still get a refund for everything. It does not say so on your invoice, but if you go back in there they will not charge you the cancellation fee. That's what happened to me, I spoke with the manager. If you have a serial for your order already then yeah, you'll lose the deposit. If you do, make sure they are still in stock at Ammo Bros though hehe.

Saw one at Field Time's new indoor range in OC for rent... just in case someone wants to spend some time behind the trigger before buying one. Great range btw, definitely worth a visit.

I finally got mine in hand after a pretty long screwy fiasco with the threaded barrel issue.
Put a 100 rounds of CCI mini-mags through it immediately at an indoor range. Initial thoughts - I feel like my GSG 1911 has tighter groups, but I would imagine that comes from a heavier gun, maybe the barrel is a little longer too? I am deadly with that GSG. Out of the box, the M&P was shooting high and to the left for me. I'm sure with those adjustable rear sights it will be a quick fix to adjust. Seems like it was set up for a 6 o'clock hold on the sights actually. Wanted to put some rounds throught it before I did anything and I didn't have a ton of time. It's a really fun pistol to shoot though. Lots of muzzle flash and decent kick for a .22 as well. I'm really happy and stoked to have it. |

M&P 22LR recoil springs
Hi, I have recently purchased the S&W M&P 22LR pistol, the CA approved version. It is a very nice gun, I loved it the same with my Sig Sauer P220 Combat (non-TB). However, I would like to buy some recoil springs for the M&P 22LR to used in the future, but it seems that no where in the world sells them. If anyone know how to buy them, please let me know, thanks alot.

I recently purchased and sprung from jail a Buckmark Camper to satisfy my need for another .22 pistol. The camper was my second choice because I couldn't find an M&P22-CA locally. Then a few days later they were in-stock at the LGS. So I put the M&P on layaway.
I was describing the situation to a free-state friend and he summed it up by saying; "So YOU'RE IN A WAITING PERIOD FOR YOUR WAITING PERIOD!?!?!? HAHAHAHAHA, YOU NEED TO MOVE, DUDE. HAHAHAHAHAH" ...anyway, I am actually looking forward to the day I can start the ten-day wait for the M&P22. |

Don't understand how some shops are trying to sell them above retail. Right now it's in stock everywhere. Some even go up to $40 below MSRP.

The first one I bought was 434 OTD. The 2nd one will be 430. 450 isn't bad. I found a couple magazines at the Onterio gun show for 30 each, but the rest we're 35 from various places. When I was in Vegas one of the LGS had 50-60 of the 12 rounders. All at 35 dollars each. I thought about getting a few and blocking them to 10 rounds, but I had already spent too much money.

I'll be getting my 2nd M&P 22 out of jail on the 10th along with a 10-22 takedown.
The first one had to be returned to sender...... it was too evil to keep. When I inspected this second gun I noticed that it appears the barrel is still threaded but now the cap does not have the detents where you can get a tool on it. |

Same deal with the Walther P22. Although not suprising, the M&P22 is made by Carl Walther.

Finally picked mines up today.
Cleaned the packing grease out, lubed with TW25B, grabbed 500rds of minimags, 200rds of Blazers and headed to Jackson Arms - one of the few ranges in my area that allows "rapid fire." I started with minimags to break the pistol in. Had a few failures to fire in the beginning but the problems slowly worked itself out after about 150rds. In the end of 500rds of minimags I fired 100+ rounds with no failures. I then switched to blazers, it's amazing how noticeable dirtier this ammo is. It ran about 100 with 2 failures to fire and 1 stovepipe. Not too bad, definitely better than my buddy’s POS Mosquito. Here's a 5rd group with CCI Blazer Round Nose. 6" Target, 15yds. The pistol is better than I am. My only gripes: * Slamming a magazine in to close the slide will not chamber a round. * thumb safety gets in they way of the slide release Here it is at home next to my Walther PPQ If only Walther make a 22LR pistol to sell under their own name that is as good as the M&P22..

I also picked mine up this weekend. After I cleaned all the shipping grease off I took her to the range(Insight Indoor) with 500rds of minimags 50 each of CCI stingers, Blazer, and CCI quiet. In the first minimag I had about 10 failure to eject which I figured was because I didn't lube the slide enough. I put a little more lube and didn't have anymore issues. I did have a few in the first two minimags that did not fire as well. Starting with the third minimag till I consumed the rest of the ammo I had no more problems. It was really fun, and she shot very well with all of the ammo I brought. The CCI stingers had some spunk to them and surprised me with a much brighter flash when fired. So far I am very happy with my purchase and can't wait to take her to the range again this weekend with a larger variety of ammo.
