So anyone who saw the billet stock I was showing around and is interested in a group buy please PM me so I can gauge interest. I am talking to the manufacturer about it now to find out minimum and maximum #s, color options, and pricing.

May also do the rails at the same time (same style that was given away in .308, for .308 or AR-15)

Anyone have any idea who the guy that had the negligent discharge on the zombie target firing line is? The bastard almost blew my foot off and to say I'm pissed would be an understatement. Apparently, the guy also misplaced his Glock 19 in a different bag later that afternoon and told everyone to be on the lookout for his missing Glock. I had a good time, but it's people like that guy that make the 2A community look bad and create unsafe situations.

Any feedback on the Zombie movie? Good? Bad? Do it again? Change something?

We had two movies, World War Z would not play, very sorry about that. We also had pop corn! Thank you to all those who helped me organize and set it up, and of course to all those who came along.

Was looking forward to watching WWZ again, but Zombieland is always good. First time watching Shaun of the Dead. Didn't really do it for me, though I know it is popular.

Love zombieland. I don't think British humor and zombies do as well as American humor and zombies.

Other great movies....

Night of the Living Dead ( started it all )
Dawn of the dead (original or remake)
Resident Evil series

Thank you so much for the jiffy pop. Very classy nice touch.

If you guys haven't already, watch Hot Fuzz. Not zombie related, but it's the same actors from Shaun of the Dead, only a lot funnier.

Daniel sells a great product and is awesome to deal with.
GET SOME

I got a GT-66 from SoCal Target Works, shot XM193 at it all day long and at night. Produced sparks from time to time. 100 yards. Very light dents, but the sides are chipped unfortunately. Not sure if normal or not...

Pretty convenient to just stake it into the ground. I fell over after about 100~ rounds each time from the force of the rounds hitting it though. Propped up a big rock directly behind it (so no ricochet) and it remained up for the entire shoot.

Too bad I didn't go to movie night, had WWZ and all the zombie movies on my portable HD I brought with me.

My TS-22 stand & 66% IPSCS target held up very well to a couple hundred 9mm and .45ACP rounds. Shipping was quick. Make it to my door 2 days after I placed my order.

I hope our bump firing AKs and AR pistol didn't interrupt the movie.

My truck is still loaded less firearms. Just too dark at night after I get home from work, and frankly it is the last thing on my mind.

I'm way overdue in thanking everyone. It was a great experience and will definitely be going to future SSZS events in the future.

Thank you MrLoneWolf, the RSOs, the cooks, and thanks to ISM and Tripper... got my Hunter's Safety Cert. Met a lot of people and you are all good in my book... except the dunderheads who thought it would be cool to fire off the bottle rockets. Not cool guys.

BAKA - what can I say.... thank you for all that you do for this event!

great weather, great people, great food, raffle and guns its a beautiful thing.
Ordering more ammo now for the next event
Thank you for including me in the group that actually did the work, but I did nothing other than teach my grandson how to shoot some handguns for the first time, shoot some guns and hang out with other Calgunners.

Thanks to all of those who put the hard work in to make this another successful Zombie Shoot. Thanks also to the vendors who donated items for this event and those who were able to make it out for the shoot. We all appreciated your donations.

We (lorax3 and my grandson) rolled in towing a rented trailer about 2:30pm on Friday and I couldn't believe all of the RVs already there. I've been to all of the Zombie shoots except 4.5 last year and I have never seen that many and that was just Friday afternoon.

I hope everyone had a great time, whether it was your first time or a repeat. I know my grandson and I did. Thanks to carb1a4h (who drove from San Jose to share the RV) for letting my grandson shoot your handguns and especially your AR15. He really enjoyed all of them.

Dario562, thanks for letting me shoot your AR10. It was the first time I've shot one and that scope really helped when shooting my metal target. I'm glad that you and everyone else that shot at it enjoyed doing so. That gong sure was ringing a lot on Sat. Speaking of others shooting at my target, I told the guys at the two canopies on my left and the one that was to the left of carb1a4h, that they could shoot at it as long as they didn't have magnum rifle ammo or a caliber larger than .308. Since they didn't, they shot and hopefully had a good time doing so like Dario562. I wouldn't be surprised if others probably did so also, but my target and stand weren't damaged anymore than they had been already.

My point is, in addition to the safety announcement about the targets, it might be beneficial to speak with the people on both sides who are near you as to whether you will allow them to shoot at your target. That should cut down, but probably will not eliminate, people shooting at other member's targets without permission.

I don't know who it was. I just happy that the clotting sponge and the tourniquet didn't need to come out. I guarantee your father would not have been a happy camper. I'm glad we had a good outcome...if you can say such a thing about an ND.

We had two movies, World War Z would not play, very sorry about that. We also had pop corn! Thank you to all those who helped me organize and set it up, and of course to all those who came along.
Movie was awesome! I was looking forward to WWZ but Zombie land was still great.

Were those the green things I kept seeing during the movie? I thought somebody figured out a way to launch chemlights.

No, I was tossing the glow sticks into the air. Was originally thinking of sending up flares (red white and blue) but didn't want to send up anything that was burning so I left them at home. Someone lit two bottle rockets, which caused a major s**t storm later Saturday night.

There were some guys that used a flare launcher to send glow Sticks into the desert, I was laughing as they did it because it was pretty cool
