Nice optic, I see you have 2.5x any plans in making 1x for us that have Astigmatism?

I tested a 1x a while back and designed a reticle but not sure what will come of it. Why not get the 2.5x its crazy fast and accurate further out

Dimitri

Can you tell me how high the optic sits when using the RS regulate mounting system. Can you still get a cheek weld or is more of a chin weld? Thanks. Trying to decide between the 4x or 1-6 for my 5.45 Saiga.

T.O.
If your Saiga is a non converted version with full length stock then the 1-6 might do the trick but it you have a short Warsaw length then you might not get the right eye relief. With the 4x your able to see your irons and use short stock but the check weld might feel a little high for you.

Yes mine is a 5.56/.223 M&P15

Question ........

In this video - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=goAlWBhaXV8
And it can also be seen fully lit int he video you linked above as well.

When the reticle is illuminated its illuminates ALL of the side and bottom auto-ranging bars etc. .... can it be set to Just have say the horseshoe illuminated that's all or does the entire horseshoe, below BDC range bars and the side auto range height bars have to be illuminated as well?

For me I would like to just have the reticle and center red-dot lit and all others stuff not unless needed.

Is this possible?

Thanks and I look forward to your reply.

Marshall .... Dimitri !!!

Question: do you have a guide on Exactly how to read and interpret the ACSS reticle??? Or is there full details that come with the scope???

I am sure there is something but do you have anything REALLY in depth? I am 100% green to scopes in general and wan't to be able to learn to the "T" how it works and what it all means and where to place the target how to read the Autoranging, CQB, Bullet Drop, etc

I have seen the pictures of the ACSS reticle with basic details around it and what not like here .... > http://www.primaryarms.com/v/vspfile...PAPS1-6X-6.jpg

But I would love to see more in depth reporting.

Thanks so much ... just trying to prepare for my scope to arrive Friday.

Thanks for that Dimitri .... I'm still lost a touch on the vertical range estimation though .... not exactly sure how to use that yet and though it makes a little sense to me I may be to green to really understand it at this point.

I get the BDC, wind a leads somewhat ... but the VRE has got me stumped a bit I think.

Just received my 4x ACSS & MD-08, mounted on my SCAR 16S! Quality of both are surprising [in a good way] for the price... 100% happy with both! Going to have to try out the 1-6x ACSS next!

Here's some shots:

Place the bottom of the target on the bottom line so in case of a zombie at their feet and measure upwards, where the zombies head ends up is how far they are. Make sense? Look at the video again and pause it.

If it's a target off the ground and say on a board 3-4' high above the ground ... What gets placed at the bottom of the line ... The actual ground that's below the elevated target or the bottom of the actual target?

I think that's what's throwing me off a bit when it comes to that scale.

Always the target. the ranging scale is a pre milled for 5'10" so use it like a ruler place on bottom of target not off ground and measure up to top of head. Confirm with a laser range finder if you got one like others have mentioned its dead on.

Gotcha .... that was one thing that was kinda confusing me based on my kind of target where to place the bottom of the scale.

It won't play a part in my shooting world yet as most of my upcoming days out shooting will be at the range shooting at no further then 100 yrds. but at some point I want to how to read it all and get the most out all the info the scope has to provide.

Thanks bro.

Initial thoughts (though I am brand new to optics to my thoughts are compared to nothing really) ...........

Damn good looking scope so far (minus my astigmatism in my right eye that I did not know would make the reticle look so bad).
Clear glass ... I took this outside and everything is crystal clear, no weird coloring, blurring etc.
Hefty well built (wish though is was a touch lighter but I knew the weight ahead of time) optic, feels like a damn expensive optic.
Reticle when I can see it is Killer ... great levels for illumination and today's 90 degree sunny bright say the level 8/9 was Perfect ... the 11 stands out in direct sunlight perfect!
Packaged like it was a $1K optic, amazed at the packaging and presentation out of the box.
PA stock mount seems great ... if you need constant swapping then the QD would be good but overall this thing is just fine.
The caps fit great and feel decently made ... I thought they would be a bit more solid and well built but still very very good caps (no need for BC I wouldn't think).
4X gets a damn nice distance and still looks great for close up as well (though reall close quarters the 1X's will shine ... I will be getting the PA reflex red-dot to mount on top of this scopes picatinny rail one they are in stock).

I of course have not shot with it yet or can attest to that these are just my out of the box thoughts is all.

I see all these other crazy thousand plus dollar ACOG's and I know they are something else but man for a weekend warrior these kind of optics are a 100% no brainer I think.

More to come

I'm thinking about either this or the 2.5x for my Springfield M1a Scout. I've tried the 2.5x on an AR15, loved it. How will this hold up to the 7.62x51?

Nope it's just a conversation piece at the moment.

Haven't been able to make it to the range at all. HOPEFULLY Sometime later this month or next.

I only have a 100yd in my area so I'm sure this will be perfect for that ... I'll be sure to reply with my thoughts and feedback once I get some ammo down range.

I want your thoughts 300+ at 100 besides the great glass its hard to appreciate it. Well at least know the BDC will be right on.

Hi Dimitri,
Any updates on when this will be back in stock? The site says "end of July", which is kinda now… Do you know how many you're getting in? Thanks.

I assume this scope is far sturdier than the current 1-6x gen 2?

I have both and I don't think one is "sturdier" then the other.

Not sure what you mean by sturdy?

The 4x is a tank! The 1-6x is tough as well but the 4x takes a beating that would make even high end optics break apart! Check out the AKOU torture tests!
