Default MCX Gun sales

I was stationed at Pendleton about 30 years ago and could buy a firearm on base through the MCX. Do they still sell firearms on base?

CamPen still sells firearms but even with no taxes you can beat their prices on the open market (Ironsights).

Don't they do out in town price matching? I think the NEX does, think the MCX would too.

Ruger SR22 for $325.00 was the only deal they had which I capitalized on. This was half a year ago though.

Oh and good luck finding anything there. Nothing but hunting rifles lately. And no common ones at that.

Good luck finding a handgun at Camp Pen MCX, all they have right now are boltguns, 2 shotgun, a HK pistol, and I think one M1A.

As for price, sometimes they have good deals sometimes not. Before all the gun craze happened they where $30 to $50 cheaper in Glocks and Sig 1911 compared to some LGS. Their .22 rifles (HK, GSG) where around $50 to $100 cheaper. Their ARs where about the same price but No tax and $25 only for Dros.

Seems they sell ammo there too. You have to ask for it. Didn't know that. They had PMC .223 for $9.99 a box (20 round) as of last night. That's not to bad considering the panic. I think the cheapest I ever got PM .223 was around $6.49 a box.

If you dont see what you want in stock there at the gun counter, go to their distributer web site and look and see what their price is, they can order just about any firearm you can think of as long as their distributor has it in stock.
www.galleryofguns.com thats where they "special order" from, and their prices arent bad when you factor is tax free and only 25 for the background check

Check this place out in Brea: http://www.proforceonline.com/. They only sell to LEO, fire, security personnel (current and ex) and seem to have pretty decent prices not to mention Gen 4 Glocks. I've never been but found this place just surfing around.

I was talking to the manager behind the counter at MCX 29 Palms, and he said prices were set by HQ USMC in Quantico. By the way, a bunch of polymer bolt guns, and a few shotguns is what was in stock last I looked on the 30th-ish.

Prices are great on some things but they will price match anyone. I just bought a M&P9c for 459 plus a 50 dollar rebate on Pendleton.

Do they have a good selection? How are the ammo prices? Edwards is pretty close to me, but I haven't checked it out yet.

They just opened the Gun Counter in the Stumps too. I stop by a few times a week to see if they have ammo. Not really shopping for a new gun, so not paying much attention to prices.

My father works for AAFES. Over Easter brunch he told me that the AAFES BX in LA is going to start selling firearms very soon.

Yes, I believe so. This is the only AAFES BX I know of in LA:

http://www.shopmyexchange.com/Exchan...esAFBStore.htm

When I get a chance, I'll ask him for an update / more details.

Camp Pendelton just built a new PX right inside the main gate off the 5. They will match internet deals as well, I showed them on my cell phone and they took it.
