Default The woodstocked lever action Red Ryd-AR? This, you've got to see.

https://youtu.be/SbXWqatpito

https://www.thefirearmblog.com/blog/...-action-ar-15/

What do you folks think about it?

My bad if it's a duplicate post.

Maybe Hollywood can remake The Rifleman series movie now.

*edit*
From the above linked article it sounds like the same people who made that functioning lever action AR also made this fully functional space gun AR , that some of you may have seen before....

https://farm5.staticflickr.com/4880/...15dc7cd4_k.jpg

If you could have 1 free version of either of these fully functional theme type rifles, which would you choose?

That is the coolest AR I have seen in a while!

Yeesh... looks like a collision or a birth defect...

THAT SAID...

A lever-action AR 15, wood furniture, perhaps CA-Neutered? is it? and although it ain't no Winchester in the looks dept, would be fun to shoot.

Fun for those who appreciate sending fewer rounds downrange with a greater quantity of hits, that is.

I'd love to shoot one. I'd never own one.

Work of art!
The burned-in scroll work on the stock and the faux tube magazine are classy!

The space gun AR they did looks cool and would be semi-automatic but I don't think I would pass up the rarity of a lever action AR if I had to choose between the two of them for free.

Neat project gun. It would hold a lot of ammo in a free state. Wouldn't carry like my Mod 94. Bet it would be fun to shoot.

I like it. It would be a cool novelty to bring to the range. I'd wager it would get lots of looks.

Standard AR and a standard Red Ryder (with metal lever) for me and mine.

If it does nothing more that irritate the legislature and their lap-dog enforcers, than it is worthwhile. While it may not be something I'm interested in, I must give credit to the inventive mind that came up with it, and who had the ability to produce an actual working model. It just goes to show that no matter what the rule making wet-wipes try to crush the citizenry with, someone will create something new.

I like the Henry Long Ranger better. That's a lever gun that can hit.

I'd take the lever action, looks like it would be a fun plinker for sh**s and giggles. The space gun just looks heavy and unwieldy.

If you google around you'll find that the Brits have been experimenting with lever ARs for some time now.

It's ugly and not an AR. When I want to shoot a lever action I do, if I wanted a AR I'd buy an AR.

Not a bad way to go if they ever passed a ban on semi-auto. Gotta get rid of the thumb-hole stock for CA. Otherwise, would be GTG.

It's not semiautomatic so thumb hole stock doesn't matter

Sure, it looks good but does it have "carbine action, 200-shot, range model ar rifle, with a compass in the stock and this thing that tells time.” ???

I know some of you guys know that the original Daisy Red Ryder never had those last two features, but Daisy's Buck Jones BB rifle did....

https://www.icollector.com/No-107-Da...-Gun_i11003897

Of course for the movie Hollywood had Daisy make some " fantasy BB rifles" ( now that's a thing I never thought I would say ) for them ...

I see no compass in the stock nor this thing which tells time.

Fail.
