Class Fee $175 Plus range fees
($14 non-members or $5 for members of FSC)

This class is perfect for anyone interested in using the most versatile and violent tool available for home defense. Regardless of your experience with a shotgun, you will learn new methods that are designed to control your shotguns recoil without sending you home with a sore shoulder. While taught is a defensive context, this course is highly recommended for those looking to start shooting the exciting sport of 3-Gun.

• Shotgun design, nomenclature, action types and selection for home defense.
• Loading and unloading
• Reloading (Tactical, Emergency and Select)
• Introduction to malfunction clearance
• Patterning your shotgun
• Ammunition selection
• Moving and shooting with an long gun
• Use of cover and concealment in your home
• Multiple target engagement
• Precision shooting with a shotgun

You Will Need
• Pump or Semi-Auto Shotgun, 12 or 20 Ga (If you don't have a shotgun contact me about renting one for class.)
• Range Fee paid to the Folsom Shooting Club ($5 members $14 non-members)
• Eye protection
• Ear protection (I highly recommend electronic hearing protection. Contact me for quality inexpensive recommendations)
• 150 rounds birdshot (#7 - #9 lite target loads), 25 buckshot and 5 slugs appropriate for your shotgun
• Ammo pouch, dump bag, shell caddies or even cargo pants with large pockets etc.
• Comfort items like food, beverages, sunscreen, seasonal clothing, chair etc
