Default 91/30 with Custom bent bolt, and JMECK scope mount

After about a month of getting parts together and waiting to bend the bolt she is finally complete! Put 40rds through her this morning and the mount appears to be solid. Was also able to use the irons with the mount and scope mounted.

Rifle: Mosin Nagat 91/30 1926
Mount: JMECK www.jmeckscopemounts.com (Jmeck is a great guy to do business with, answered all of my questions going into detail on every one, and he builds a solid, good looking product!)
Scope: Bushnell 3200 elite 10x40 with mil dots
Bolt: A Hex shaped bolt for a hex receiver; Forged in the depths of Plumas County
Trigger: Finnish 2 stage

Brass part is a dragons head. If anyone knows where I can find a hammer and sickle to put there please let me know!

Focus is bad, but it will give you an idea of how you can still use the irons with the mount.

Thanks!
It is the head of a dragon. Looking to replace it with a hammer and sickle or maybe a Russian star, once I find something. Have any suggestions?

I collect Military Arms and enjoy shooting in local matches. I also collect older Lever Actions, especially those chambered in odd/old cartridges. If you have a nice old Winchester or Marlin in 25-20, 32-40, 38-55, 40-60, 45-70, etc etc, please PM me and we can work out a deal.

I like the idea of being able to use the irons but how is the cheek weld?

How about a genuine Red Army coat button?

It is a little high but not bad. If it becomes an issue down the road I'll get a cheek pad.

I don't have any to try with, but my guess would be no. Besides when the zombies come you will be better off with an AR.
