As a California resident, you cannot legally purchase firearms out of state unless you have the FFL transfer it to one in CA for DROS. The exception is C&R firearms which you can buy out of state if you have a FFL03.

"NO" Unless you have a Nevada drivers license.. I was just there a few months ago and looked at some guns in a gun store but could not purchase them. Ammo, Magazines, ect. are not a problem though.. I know Bummer!

Default Look in the commercial vendor section

There are some shops in California that will do a Single Shot Exemption modification to Gen-4 glocks to allow you to purchase the gun in California. Once you purchase it, you remove the modifications and it's the same as if you'd bought it out of state (minus the 'high capacity' magazines.)

Check the commercial vendor section for vendors that will do SSE. Good luck finding the gun you want.

Default YES YOU CAN...

As stated above, YES you can, with limitations.
Has to be California Legal to begin with. (minus sse)

Otherwise you purchase it and have it shipped to youre local ffl. Not a big deal, you have to wait 10 days anyways why not a couple more if its at a great price or something rare/you really want. Even the big stores like scheels will do this. Bought a Benelli M3 there and it was rather painless. Took 2 days to get it to home ffl and then the standard 10 day wait.
