Default Glenfield (Marlin) Model 60 owners - I need help!

I was cleaning my model 60 and long story short the lower completely came apart and some spring shot off somewhere. There may have been another piece with it - I don't know.

Judging by the picture above do you guys see anything that's missing? I have no idea how to put this back together or what all is missing and the exploded drawing on the Brownells site isn't very high res.

Help!

The hammer spring #28 on the diagram is missing. I don't see the strut #29 for it, either. Also, your hammer has an ear broken off and the plastic buffer looks like it could stand to be replaced.

I suggest spending some quality time at RimfireCentral.com. I linked to an article about the model 60 action, he offers a Powerpoint presentation or a pdf you can download.

Good luck.

Eh, it's not that terribly complicated. He just needs to know what's missing and he'll manage getting it back together I'm sure.

The parts showed up and I got it all together. That power point saved me - I wouldn't have been able to get it otherwise.

The reason that it was so difficult is because part of the feed throat is damaged and so the lifter will just go all the way up when it's under spring tension. Because of the power point I could see that was the issue and then work around it.

Thanks for all your help guys
