Default 1-6x vs 4-14x acss at 100 yards

Does anyone have pictures down scope of 1-6x and 4-14x at different powers for comparison at 100 yards (preferably)? I already have a 1-6x acss gen1 but thinking about upgrading to the 4-14x acss when it is released. I will mostly be plinking at 100 yards with my AR15 and wanted something that I could see bullet holes with scope.

This was closer to 90 yards but furthest I could walk back at the park by my house. The little red dots out of focus at 14x are 1" big. It was hard for to get the Iphone camera still enough to get the reticle to focus at the lowest setting but its clear as day while looking through it.

BTW it's up for sale.. here's the link to the post

4x

7x

14x

I bought it then switched directions and wanted to get more into precision shooting and not just making hits on steel. I would be keeping it but I need the money to pay for the Viper PST 6-24 I'm picking up. That and I don't have another gun laying around to put it on. And if it stays laying around ill find myself justifying purchasing a whole new gun to put it on hah

Literally opened, put on rings played with magnification and then wrapped up and put it back in box. Hasn't seen a single shot.

Why not just dial in exact firing solutions? Its designed to be fast and precise. Guys are getting way tighter groups including my self using chevron tip. I think if you stretch its legs further out and then get another scope you will find your self searching through threads to find another ACSS!

Because dialing in for wind that is continuously changing isn't the smartest thing to do. And doing wind holds on a scope that has hash marks every 1 mil isn't that easy either. So taking advantage of a g2 reticle or a Horus or the new ebr-2c or the reticles with smaller increments and "Christmas tree" like designs makes it easier to make those wind and elevation holds. Not saying this is a bad scope or a bad reticle by any means. It's just not optimized for what I am trying to accomplish, with the gun I'm putting it on.

If I had the money to but a new scope and keep this, than I would. But unfortunately I don't have that much $$ laying around. I do plan on putting a 1-6 on my 16" ar once I can get around to it.

Holding changing wind using mils is complicated as well and why the ACSS system holds are set to mph instead yours giving up auto range, wind and leads. I get what your trying to do , it just seems like your giving up so much! Good luck.
