I dont understand. If going BCM, why get a carbine length upper?

I would only go carbine with Colt or if I was really trying to be extra cool, LMT (or if it was for a pistol obviously). If youre gonna go with an above Colt level upper, theres no reason to limit yourself to Carbine gas. Get a middy
