Going to Angeles in the morning to film footage of me shooting the Winchester 1895 after its reconfiguration.
I plan to be on the right side by 9am. If anyone wants to see it in person, come by.   And if you happen to have some 7.62x54R National match ammo, I would love to buy a box off you.

Wednesday Rangeday Report 8/10 Drive to ASR from DTLA was about 50 mins, lots of traffic at 5pm. 2 accidents on the way to the range. Rifle side was running at approximately 70% capacity, fullest I've seen it since I've started coming on Wednesdays. Handgun side was packed as usual. Managed to find Mosin Virus and his family of 1911's. Weather was surprisingly pleasant not too hot, perfect for a Wednesday shoot. Installed a new 4-12 scope on June but wasn't able to test her out completely due to a Kamikaze family of deer that decided to check out the 100 yard berm. RO's were laid back and managed scare away the deer family, but then limited shooting to 100 yards for the rest of the night. A little disappointing. Extra notes: They have a new girl in the shop, super nice!  Met up with Mosin Virus, great guy, awesome shooter. Owner of three bad *** 1911's Photos! I want to say thank you to the older gentleman that helped me with an AR issue I had at the range today. I had a round chambered, unable to fire, and unable to pull the bolt back. We could not even get the upper and lower to separate. Anyway, he had a great idea of using a small hammer and forcing the bolt back and it worked. Thank you for lending me your tools and being a great and helpful person.

Heading out there this morning with a buddy. Pretty excited to get away from the new baby....she's been taking up all my time
 We're dragging the following with us: 1954 Chinese SKS 2 ARs (one built with DD parts and one mostly BCM built on a aero lower) Colt "the tiger" .38 super RIA compact .45 1911 Walther PPK fro the 60s All recent acquisitions We should be on the 100 yard zeroing the rifles and in the pistol area. Say hi if you see us.

Was there Black Friday and yesterday, super busy Friday, but not so much yesterday.
Nice to see that they added new plinking targets just for .22 and .17 on the pistol side. Spent most of my morning shooting my purple pig 10/22. It's nice to have the targets spinning and reacting, feels like I'm at the carnival.  Was going to stay longer till the person next to me starts to unload his 5.56 on the pistol targets, RO's were on him by his second mag. People just can't read the signs,  I'll be back next weekend to try out the AR's with the Thordsen stocks and my new RFB. Last edited by bluonyx; 11-27-2016 at 9:28 AM..

Was there today with my son @ bench H4, testing out my new Kel-tec RFB. My son was shooting his AR with it's new Thordsen stock. Pretty sure the neighbor to our right didn't like our muzzle brake. It was damn loud but it works.
 Hope to be back next Sunday...
