Well maybe I own my own business, and that's been fairly recently, but I'm not a businessman in the sense that you think I am. I'm in a much different spot than I was just 6 months ago.

As far as false promises, there were a few things that happened after my offer that caused me to retract it. You and some others know what it was.

I'm happy to buy some lunch for friends. And pay for hotel rooms at matches, beer, etc. After the aps match lunch is on me if you're interested. Seriously.

Just like the thread about my IPSC scoring at my last match. This one too has gone to far and I was involved in both of them.
I don't want to mess up the fun of shooting in matches because different groups of people are fighting.
I am going to keep my opinions to my self from now on. At least I will try. It's not worth all this.
If you guys want to keep on, go ahead. Its fun reading .

no it's all good, ryan. i have no issues again. i'm actualy quite proud of myself, i didn't let my anger get the best of me this time. i see things in a different light, and i can't let every little thing bother me. i simply don't have the time for it. i take care of my family, work my butt off, and that's pretty much what i do. don't mind me. like i said last year, no more drama. it's done. i just don't like it following me around, that's all. i'm signing out for a long, long time...i won't be posting in this section for awhile. have fun shooting.

Is that how you got to almost 5 thousand posts in two years but, by your own admission, rarely shoot? Good grief man you are the definition of a non shooting post whore. Have you heard the joke about "if your post count far exceeds your annual round count..."?

And for what it's worth- I've known Vu for a few years now and I can say with complete certainty that his "morale compass" is as true as that of anyone I've ever met. In fact his sense of ethics and honesty, both in personal friendships and acquaintances in the shooting community, is rare and very admirable. It is his greatest strength. You can always count on him to be straight with you even if it's not the feel good message you want to hear. He is like that with himself as well as with others. In that respect he is as solid as a rock and absolutely reliable.

I'm not just saying this because he's my friend, but he is my friend because of what I'm saying.

Hey now, don't bash on people for their post count.
I got 13,000 posts in the last year and a half, but I still find time for at least 2-3 matches a month.
You can tell I'm shooting, working or sleeping when you don't see me posting.

Oh, and my post count does not exceed my round count.
I shoot really fast.

No worries Kurt. What it is, is what it is.

In the end I will say that it is Pete's stuff and he has every right to do what he wishes with it.

On another note..you better train up for AZ old man. My KMW 260 is punching Xs out to 800 today. We had 4 to 6 MOA of wind at 800 to 1K.

It was a beautiful day to get out with the guys to pull the trigger. 60 degrees, good wind practice and a few wives baked about 3 birthday cakes. Hard to beat a day like this.

Yeah this weekend is great... I spent the day in the Malibu canyons carving up the corners with my best friend. Did over 200 miles on the bike today, very light traffic, perfect weather almost no gravel on the roads. It was perfect! Stopped by the Reel Inn for some great seafood with the wives and its beer and XBox tonight!

Tomorrow is Bill's match--awesome way to wrap up a great weekend.

i don't know if your married or not, or even have kids... i don't know too much about you at all actually. but i do know being married and having kids, you learn alot about yourself. there comes a time in a man's life when you find out it's not about yourself anymore..it's about the family, the wife, the kids and their best interest. that's my world...ya some guys don't understand it. some guys need to grow up. if your going to insult me that's one thing, but leave my family out of it. that's not cool.
