i have no clue... a buddy of mine always brake a little piece that has to have special little pins pressed into it... its not a fun task... plus if i remember correctly its about a 20$ fix each time....
this happens on the 223 machine the most... what caliber will you be loading for?

Did you order the 900 rpm or 1200?
You shouldn't have any problems with 9mm... If you plan to completely load 223 at once... Without processing separately... Good luck getting anything accurate out of it...

I ordered the 900rpm motor to do both pistol and rifle. Bought a rapid case trimmer to mount to the 1050 and with the swagger there really shouldn't be a problem.

Ok thats good! As long as you process seperatly and just run 100% clean processed brass threw it on the loading tool head you should be good. As long as your using a good ball powder that meters well and consistant youwill make great ammo you almost will want to load by hand. That way when you feel how smooth everything is running you will know you are making some quality stuff!

I ordered my Dillon 550b 15 years ago. Oh, I'm not waiting for it, I'm just saying I ordered it 15 years ago..
And after 15 years, I'm guessing I could sell it for what I bought it for. Seriously, like they say, "The best time to plant a tree was 20 years ago, the second best time is today" |

Just placed my order yesterday for almost the same set up as milw50717, can't wait to get her. Working on figuring out what components are available so I can come up with a recipe for my first loads. Looks like the wait time is about a month, not too bad.

Wow, 2 days after ordering from Brian Enos, my .45 Dillon dies showed up. Here's hoping the rest of my order is right behind that. Guess I better build my workbench sooner than later.

Are your shipments showing up US Postal Service or FedEx? My dies showed up USPS which was interesting, much more difficult to track the incoming shipment that way. Still works for me but I was interested in what others were seeing.

mak128 - well, finished mounting the 550 today. guess the die's are still on backorder as they weren't in the box.
dakman - both my shipments from Dillon came from FedEx so far. Can't speak for the dies yet though. |

I am one lucky boy!!! Ordered my Dillon XL650 with all the trimmings on June 26th, I received the dies 2 days later via USPS and two big boxes with everything in my order on July 3rd. Amazing service Brian Enos and Dillon. Now I have to build the bench since I was expecting 6 - 8 weeks, I am way behind. :-)
