Let me know how you like it. I want to order the black and desert tan one in the future. At around 550 you cant beat it. Let me know what you think about the quality and functionality of the gun. where did you purchase this one?

I purchased it via an auction on GunBroker.com. FFL in Marin County. Price was right. I have shot 100 rounds so far. I need to do some polishing but it works well. I just ordered some Hogue grips. I have some chip MCCORMICK mags that I am using with the stock mag. I transferred the 1911A1 through Net-ffl here in Simi.

The 1911 from Armscor works well for me. I tried the Hogue rubber grips but they didn't fit. I'm back with the stock wood grips.

I've passed the CCW live fire test with it and two of my other handguns.

Very cool. I am saving for a scar 17 right now and though id hate to skimp on price and impulse buy something I regret the pricing of the armscors as well as rock island armory 1911s are sure tempting. Good to hear it is reliable.
