anybody tried these sights - seems like they could take a little getting used to but it's really hard to tell if they're worth the investment - appears that they give some magnification on the target and when you reach my age things like this start looking more interesting

so, a step up with technology, or, crap?

I'm curious about them as well. Someone here must have one.

No magnification. I have one, it works. Wont be buying more, would rather have a budget 1-4

I haven't tried them on a range but I did look at them at SHOT. They're actually quite good. For those of us with old eyes that need rx but can't focus on close up objects, these sights actually work very well. I need biofocals to focus on anything closer than arms length and front sights are a complete blur unless I either remove my normal glasses or have a portion of the lens that is for in close, look at the sights. With these I can actually see clearly regardless of how I view them.

I have one on a pistol and one on a rifle. They do take some range time to get used to them.
Go to their website and sign up for their email. They don't send out too many and have some sales. I believe they still offer a money back guarantee.
