Welp, already a perfect score, LOL...

So what kind of comp should be done to know who wins?

Does a red dot count as a scope?

Ok, went to the range to shoot my new Anschutz .17HMR and thought I'd give this target a try at 100yds...so I guess its not part of the match as 100yds is not a option but I'd thought I'd show what this annie can do...

I first thought I only shot 9 but I knew I had 10 because I had 10 counted on the table. So either its the top bigger hole or the slightly elongated bottom hole. I think I can get better groups with 20gr which I have on order right now...we'll see.

Won it on GB... $599.99 from these guys:

http://gunbroker.com/Auction/SellerA...p?User=1256209

They have this Cooper I wish I had the funds to buy!!! They have some decent prices on CZ's too... I used Bass Pro as an FFL, I won't do that again though... their whole process is long, you gotta wait on the salesperson, then you gotta wait for the manager to verify it was all done correctly, then you gotta come back in 10 days, wait for a salesperson, then wait for another manager to escort you out....But I think the guy forgot to charge me sales tax on the rifle

these annirs are amazing arent they? the freakin action and trigger brake are stunning. like nothing else. i took my 1517 mpr in 17hmr to a place to shoot on monday and at 50 yards sitting with a front rest i placed 10 shots all on the same .5-1" area in a little black diamond. as long as its not windy, these will drive tacks! they just wear your arm out if your free standing.

Yeah the MPR is a heavier stock. Beautiful non the less, I went with the Beavertail for the price factor. Bud's has the MPR for around $650, and originally I was shopping for a CZ 453 Varmint...but for around the same price I got the Anschutz instead

A Place to Shoot is in Saugus right? Where they have the Tactical Rimfire match? I'd like to go someday.... for the match that is.

Default November RF match

Anybody going to the range this weekend?

Last chance to post targets for November.

Bring a turkey sandwich & some pumpkin pie for lunch.

What more can you ask for, shooting & the best leftovers on earth?

Ed

We have the tact / prec rimfire match the 1st Sat of every month. It starts at 12:00 noon and goes until about 4:00 or so. I'm the MD so if you have any questions PM me or just look in the Precision Rifle section for the match announcments.

Also note it is limited to 22LR only.

Heading to P2K on Saturday for the truck sale. I wasn't planning on it, but I might "need" to bring the 10/22 to post a score for December

I've been meaning to shoot it - at home with my .177 target airgun if necessary - but hell, it's been cold as hell up here (3 degrees yesterday AM).

A little warm weather, and I'll shoot this one full of holes..

3 of my targets shot from today. These were shot from the prone posistion with a bipod and rear bag. The ammo used was SK std+. Slight wind 58deg.
Range finder said 51 yards

On a few of the targets i took an extra shot because i lost track of my round count. Either way it only would have changed the final score by one point.

I threw in a target shot at 150 at the bottom. The through the scope pic below it will show the exact target at 150 yards.

The rifle- Sako Quad, Lilja barrel, Falcon Menace scope, McM A5

The best target of the 3

Looks like you ironed out your issues with your Quad...thats some really good shooting... Didn't you get your trigger done by Gish? I can't find his ads in GB anymore.

Yes its shooting much better now... Thank you! I still need a factory firing pin rather then my home made one but it seems to be good for now.

I did get it done by Larry Gish. Im not happy with it. It will release if you cycle the bolt to fast. Once its set it passes the drop test and mallet tests. Even when it releases upon closing the bolt it won't fire because the bolt isn't fully locked down yet but its annoying as hell. Jard makes a Sako and a Tikka trigger that should work in the Quads as well thats fully adjustable. I'm considering giving it a try.

Oh really? I've been on the fence about sending my p94s trigger to him...I have the screw as far as it will go and it's super light pull. I'll just hold out till I find my Jewell trigger. Lemme know how the Jard works out. I doubt I'll get to post this month...weather has been lousy on my days off.
