Why is this not a sticky yet?
The number of page views is higher than most of the current stickies already.

Here is my setup. I'm new to reloading, but bought all this (and other things not picrutered). Made 100 match .308 last weekend.

Default gotta start somewhere!

Should be ready to start loading this weekend....well, after my boolits get here from Cabelas . Been buying up stuff over the last couple weeks and will be set up to load .223 and .308

Put together the bench last Sun and made the final set ups today. Really happy with the bench....solid (home depot husky).

Hornady >> Lock N load press, powder measure, scale, case tumbler , new dimension dies, lube, bullet puller (die type), funnel, trickler, hand primer\etc etc.....Hodgdon H4895, CCI large and small rifle primers....Hornady A max's incoming tomorrow. Lock and load!

Anyway...thanks to those who answered my noob questions...I'm sure there will be more

It's not much, but is functional. Press: Dillion RL550b on strong mount. I currently have quick change for .223 and .40 s&w, with 45 acp on the wish list. The workbench I picked up on Craigslist for $80 and has solid oak top. And it's solid. The drawers house all my other tools, dies, stuff, you know. The cabinet is where I keep my tumbler, powder in a box, scale when not on bench. Speaking of the scale, I traced a ring around the adjustment part and if I put it in the same place every time it's balanced or close to it with little adjustment. The table on the left has RCBS Partner press I use for extra stuff, decapping, pulling bullets, etc. and I can move it around to wherever I'm working. The rack on the right shelves my cases in plastic bins from Dollar Tree, the garbage can is full of brass, file thingy with manuals, notebook, books, etc. and I sto my Super Swage there. I mounted swage on a block that I can move around or take inside and swage on the coffee table while watching TV. The pegboard is handy for keeping tools I find myself using a lot. Lastly, before y'all try and pull my Mancard, the ironing board is for setting my guns on behind me while I'm working. Folds up, it's padded, and sto's easily!

Oh, and I mounted my Dillon left of center so I still have room to work to the right and it doesn't stick me in the corner while reloading. Like I said, not much but works for me so far!

Uploaded with ImageShack.us

My apt set up. Whole show packs up into an old wine box. I have a small Dillon set up in my GF's parents shop but this is enough to crank out test loads etc. for my rifles at home.

My humble apartment setup. Loading up .223 and .40 S&W with a Lee classic turret bolted to a cheap but solid old nightstand. Screwed the nightstand into the wall and the whole thing is pretty darn sturdy.

Thinking about having the drawer pull out and cut some plywood to fit over that and extend the bench another 10 inches or so, but be able to put away when not needed.

Girlfriend isn't happy, but my AR is.

9in1twist -

You're using a Dillon primer alarm exactly how I'm using one....to alarm for low powder.

At least it appears to me anyway. It works great!

Cool man cave/loading area too!

Per my request, I asked for this thread to be a sticky.
This thread can give new reloader's ideas of what other reloader's have and how to setup their benches. Its been a 2 years since I bought a home, built a reloading bench but havent reloaded since moving in. Ill be posting my picture once I clean out my garage and install my dillon xl650 next to my lee single stage.

Ill update this post later on.
