Vortex Strike Eagle 4-24x50 with EBR-4 MOA Riflescope SE-1627
I have one on my 10/22 parallax to 20 yards good scope for the money. Negatives Made in China, it is a large and weighs 25.6 OZ
Euro optic has them for $299 (I have never done business with Euro Optic) also a 3 x 18 version.

Vortex is a great option. I decided to go with a Diamondback Tactical 4-16 on mine.

So many choices out there. Lucky for me, I just inherited the cheapo scopes that came with the rifles when I bought them used so I didn't have to think about it. Even cheapo fixed magnification scopes work great. I also have a 3-9 magnification scope and I basically keep it in one setting anyhow.

I have Mueller 8x32-44 Target Dot scopes on my favorite shooters, a 455 varmint and Brno #4. Less than $250 if you can find one used.
